Opioids Did kratom give me a uti?

Hi all
i have been using kratom for about 3-4 weeks now
i have experimented with many strains and s&v also
i was not feeling great earlier this week and started to use abit more than usual to compensate, I have been trying to stick to 1.5gof kratom mixed with 1.5g of s&v 3-4 times a day, but as the week moved on I was pissing like a horse, and the urge to urinate would come on realy fast and strong, (I was drinking a lot of water to keep hydrated)
then on Thursday night I started with a fever, I went to the out of hours doc and was diagnosed with a uti, I was prescribed a weeks worth of antibiotics.
day 2 with no k, I am in pain with my back, it's an old injury that rears it's ugly head when I don't move much, I have been resting to try and beat this infection.
i am tempted to take some k to deal with the pain and lift my mood, but am worried it was the k that started the uti?
any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated

I doubt the K caused your problem UTI's can come from many external sources you could have got it in a pool, sexual intercourse, and it could also be related to family history. A predisposition for bladder infections may run in families. Other risk factors include diabetes, being uncircumcised, and having a large prostate.

i am going to get my bloods done and my prostate checked next week (which is not something I'm looking forward to)

Good go get checked out its better than it being too late I know they are not fun but when is any procedure at the hospital fun? we do it because Its in our best interest.
