Did I snort it right?

So to start, I don?t know if this is against the rules to ask, I am jot entirely sure I 110% understand, so I apologize if it?s not.

I just crushed up a couple hydromorphone (dilaudid) tablets on the bottom of an ibuprofen bottle (???) and basically just swept it into a pile and you know, inhaled, some, then the rest. But I don?t know if I did it right becausw I can taste the chemicals in the back of my throat. I was just wondering if that is supposed to happen or if I sucked it in too far.

There's no way for us to diagnose you in this way. I will say that it is possible to fully inhale powder, bypassing the mucous membranes. This definitely could've happened. Certain people, like myself, must be extremely delicate when insufflating because this can happen pretty easily. Others really have to inhale just to get the powder up there. So, in this regard, there is some technique involved.

Yes the postnasal drip in the back of your throat is normal. For me at least. It still happened to me after 6+ years. You got it in there. I find doing it slower and in smaller bits to help it go down(up) easier

Try not to suck or hauk it down for a good half hour or 45 min and let it work thru your nasal and sinus tissue otherwise you suck it down and may as well should have tossed it down the hatch
