Bupe Did i just take too much bube??

Just a few moments ago I sublingual took a piece of subutex from a 8 mg pill. The piece i took was half the size of a pinkey finger nail is that pushing for an over dose or will i be alright? I dont got much of a tolerance and now a little worried. Any advice is appreciated thanks bluelighters.
 
Need to add something yesterday around the same time I took some more bube about .3 mg im I fucked or what?
 
What does 'half the size of my pinky nail' mean? Compared to the entire 8mg, how many mg would you say it is? Bupe is only a partial agonist, so the CNS depressant effects are not quite as strong as typical full agonist opioids like oxycodone, heroin, methadone, etc.. So for instance if you took roughly half an 8mg subutex, I do not think you will 'overdose'. If you have no tolerance, it is quite possible you will get higher than you would like and experience the negative effects of opiates, such as nausea, vomiting, sweating, dizzyness, etc.. But the chances of you experiencing an overdose to the point where you need medical attention is small. Though there is still a chance, none of us on here will be able to definitely tell you whether or not you need to go to the hospital..

THe best thing we can tell you is to monitor your breathing, and have someone you trust come watch you in case you pass out and cant be woken, so they can call 911.
 
more then half the 8 mg pill is left its a small chunk i took and by the pinky finger nail i meant its the size of half your pinky nail if u coverd it with ur thumb more then the typical powerded doses i take. i also took a dose yesterday will that be a factor?
 
id guess perhaps .5 mg or more in the highest amount cant be sure was aiming for .2 mg.
 
.5mg is 1/16th of the pill.. by the way you are describing it it sounds more like you took a few mg.. Regardless, it is a small dose.. If you have taken bupe before, you should know your tolerance. Why did you randomly take a larger amount not knowing if you would 'overdose' or not? This whole situation sounds strange. Either way I think you should be fine. Heed my advice I already gave you, and see how the situation plays out. Have a friend come stay with you to monitor your breathing/etc so IF something were to go bad you have someone there to get you help..

I highly doubt it will come to that, though, but it's better to be safe than sorry..
 
Panic attack i guess well when i looked at the pill dident seem like i cut more then i did last night off and there is way more then half the pill left about 75% and i took a chunk as opposed to making it powder to taste the lime in it. looked like a fair enough dose trying to be extremly safe thanks for the help. my pinky nail is small by the way the size of it coverd in half is the size of the arrow key on the keyboaard.
 
Buprenorphine by itself is very difficult to OD on (as in cessation of breathing). Worst that can happen is that you might vomit for a few hours.
 
Telling us how you took it would help. Swallowing it would do nothing to you and you probably will just start throwing up. If you insufflated it you should be fine, you will be very high bust most likely with throw up as well. I can almost guarantee you will not OD. If you took it sublingually, you probably won't OD either and will probably just feel high or not feel anything at all.
