Wow, this is really strange. Opipramol at 50mg taken orally, simultaneously with 100mg rectal tramadol produces the exact same feeling as if i was coming up on a fat dose of acid minus the euphoria. Even the visual shift is clearly there. I've used Tramadol over 200 times and Opipramol maybe 20-30 times. Usually I'd take the Tram orally, but when I have suppositories I'm not gonna eat them, with or without first pass. 
I've also been on and off citalopram and have had about 200 psychedelic experiences throughout the past 11 years.
I discovered this last night and was convinced I must've eaten some DOC which I recently had handled and decided to keep observing. When it didn't kick off I thought I must've accidentally eaten like 40mg and theres some strange interaction with opipramol maybe. I usually wouldn't feel very intoxicated off either medication, even when using a multiple of the dosages.
This is more than what an SSRI feels like for sure. A lot more "it's about to go down!" vibe. I feel sick, got massive jaw tension, dumbed down, muscle tension all over the body, difficulty seeing things in front of me, star trek warp speed look, over the course of the experience neck pain is increasing, very thick mucuus which gets very unpleasant as well. I smoke like CRAZY which I never want to do on Citalopram because the smoke tastes nasty. Tried to knock myself out with pot and 50mg Oxazepam (didn't work as expected, eventhough I have no acquired tolerance to them, nor to booze) for 9h last night until I finally caught 3h of sleep. Today I took the same combination, to relax in the afternoon. All started again, this sucks balls lol.
Be very careful with this combination. I swear I have visuals right now, more pronounced than with DiPT for example. Crazy shit! The white on the screen as I write is starting to shine in every color of the rainbow, sounds seem very distant but pronounces, skin looks multilayered and soft, i can feel it with my eyes, even on a still it looks alive. I could go on and on, this is absolutely crazy news to me since I am very interested in the role of sigma receptors in psychedelia. I've got some dmt here... Nah I better not.
I strongly (!) advise against this combination, it feels very unhealthy. I have seen a psychiatrist prescribe these two medications once at even higher doses on a first visit to him by a patient of mine who I remember telling me about how they both totally space him out when taken together and he hates it. Guy was a huge stoner well into his 50s and since he had a strongly hypochondriac self perception, so I didn't really pay much attention to the specifics of his description. I can barely read, I'm out.
edit: it should have something to do with lack of first pass metabolization of the Tramadol and the sigma binding of opipramol. i am as convinced as one can be.
