so the other day i obtained 2 40mg oxycontin. i cut them in half, put the half in my mouth and got the orangish coating off, then crushed it up and snorted it. it worked and i felt pretty good. but did i do it right? is there a better way? im afraid the coating i licked off still absorbed and prevented all of it from hitting me. i nodded off a couple times, but it was 80mg and that is a pretty high dose for me (i have no tolerance to oxy, but hydrocodone yes) so i was expecting more. it was still good though, i want more.. haha... .. .
 
You're more likely to have lost more up your nose than from the coating you removed.
Sounds as though you did everything right yes. Maybe it was the hype that you had in your head that was slightly over-exaggerated and it didn't live up to the actual effect.

All else I'll say is that watch out for addiction becoming more of a problem now you've "stepped up the ladder" Opioid-strength-wise.
 
Yes you did it right, it doesnt need to be in your mouth long just long enough to wipe the coating off. why did you cut the pill in half if you were snorting both 80s? I'm not sure what exactly you did? It sounds like you snorted all of it since you said you did 80mg, and if you dont have a tolerance that should have got you pretty high, most people would have puked on that amount without a tolerance. Next time you may want to crush one up real fine and swallow that then wait 30 min and snort the other 40 so you get the best of both worlds.
 
No you didn't. I believe if you look at the directions on the bottle it says not to crush or chew the pills, and to swallow it ;)
 
yea, what you describe is pretty standard

what is your hydrocodone tolerance like?

i would recommend using a hose clamp, for me i tend to notice a slightly better absorbtion with the fine powder the hose clamp offers just crushing oxy with my grinder and using a razor blade left me with a bunch of small little rocks, tiny albeit but i feel the smooth flakes from the hose clamp allow 80mg of oxy feel slightly better IMO other then that there isnt a whole lot to do wrong when snortnig oxy

oh yea and when you snort dont suck like a fuckin vaccum n let it all get inhalled you wanna snort 'low n slow' as i call it and let the powder sit in your nasal cavity for awhile 20mins or so
 
thanks guys. i cut the pills up to get lines that werent too big and i would wait 20 minutes before snorting another line. i had 4 lines total. my hydrocodone tolerance takes about 70mg to feel good. nothing can seem to put me in that ocean i want to be in. ahh!!
 
It all depends on tolerance. 200mg can definatly be done. I've seen my friend IV 120mg in a single shot and then drive a car... he just had a really bad addiction and that amount didn't intoxicate him too much.

i've IV'd 240mg and drove my car before. wasn't even that fucked. i OD'd once when injecting .4g of H (1g over 10 hours), but thank god i was parked.
 
i did another 80mg last night. popped one whole pill, after taking coating off. snorted half of my other 40 and parachuted the other half. it seemed like it lasted longer, and hit me in waves. i like it. should i step it up to 120?

It's called cross-tolerance.
All opioids touch the same parts in your brain. (roughly. With different proportions and affinities)
Please don't forget about things like this as such a mistake can be deadly.

no, but i can certainly put it in drive immediately after. honestly what happened is i was clubbing all night, took an e while doing H all night. i went to the casino when the club closed. i took the shot that did it around 11am, got out of my car, bought smokes, came back, and fell unconscious and had a seizure in the driver seat. i bit down on my lip while seizing and my friend thought i was spitting blood or something. he called 911, and i woke up hearing sirens. i had no idea what happened and couldn't understand why my friend had that look on his face. it took me a second but i believed the sirens were for me, and i fucking drove off cause i had a couple more grams on me and didn't want a DUI. my memory was all fucked right after and i couldn't remember how to get to my new apartment. :-/

You don't have much of a tolerance.
The reason it hit you in waves is because you ate the pill whole! THE PILL WAS RELEASING OXY SLOWLY IN YOUR DIGESTIVE SYSTEM!
You think that the time-release is only in the coating, but it is not!
The time-release is a matrix throughout the whole pill which can only be circumvented by crushing or cutting it up into small pieces.


If you would have crushed both of the pills fully and parachuted, then you could have OD'ed. The reason you didn't is because the first 40 was releasing slowly... then you added 20mg up the nose, which is the second wave, then the other parachuted 20mg gave you another wave, and then you possibly got another wave from the full 40mg OC still digesting.


It seems that you don't know much about oxy. It isn't something to be taken lightly!

thank you. i do understand now, this was the kind of response i was looking for because i was taking it lightly thinking maybe i have a natural tolerance since i have one with hydrocodone. so the best way for it to hit me is by parachuting it? the first time i did oxy i snorted all 80mg. i didnt OD, do you think i can parachute atleast 60?
 
if you snorted 80 in one sitting* (*basically within one snort or maybe multiple consecutive snorts in the case of an 80) then parachuting 60 shouldnt be a prob

but if you did 80 over a period of time then just parachute 40-50 and maybe wait 30 mins with a possible 20mg standby parachute bag
 
have you ever thought about giving plugging a chance? it works great, and is the easiest way to correctly dose ur oxy, especially if you have oxycontin instead of roxicodone.

EDIT: also, u dont have to take as much to get the same effects as if you were just swallowing ur pills.
