Diazepan and Tramadol combo

I have been taking tramadol for pain for about a year. I also take it weekends recreationally. I don't like to get 'out of it' just like a nice relaxing buzz with and about 6 x 50mg instant release spread out over 3 hours or so does it. I guess I am a convertor.

Ok so now I have been prescribed Diazepan and took 10mg a few hours ago. The thing is it has not done a lot really, I may be a little bit calmer but that's it. Anyay my tramadol buzz is seriously lacking after 300mg. Before I try taking any more I want to know if Diazepan can blunt tramadols effects? I don't really want to waste any more tram chasing a buzz I can't get when on Diazepan. Also I don't want to take the Diazepan recreationally. I have plenty of tramadol for that ;-)

Diazepam taken with or anywhere between 6-12 before tramadol is great. It can definitely take away from the stimulation that tramadol gives but it paves way for the opioid effects of tramadol to really shine. As long as you keep your dosing in check and you know your tolerance, tramadol, a benzo and some sort of cannabinoid to top it off is one of my favorite combinations.

Tramadols opioidergic effects take longer than its stimulating effects due to the way it's metabolized so make sure you've given that 300 mg at least 3 full hours until you cast judgement.

Thanks for the reply.

I like the stimulant effect combined with the opioid so that's a bit of a loss for me. However I do enjoy the warm glow you get later on after the trams converted to the O des meth tramadol. That's missing, also I'm not itching which while that's good it seems to come indicate the trams not converting to its active metabolite. I thought maybe it was because of the diazipan but your input suggests its not.

Anytime. Like I said, taking the diazepam is irrelevant to tramadols demethylation.

I've been taking tramadol for a good decade or so and just like you said it all depends on what I'm looking for. If I'm looking to get work done, be it physically or mentally demanding work I'll leave the benzodiazepine out. I find it really gives you clean crisp boost and it helped my lifestyle and helped me get heaps done. If I want a more noddy high, or if it's later in the evening (because tramadol can keep me awake) I'll drop 1-2 milligrams of alprazolam.

Honestly though, I've just about done it all and tramadol with a benzo and some synthetic cannabinoid gives one of the best highs imaginable. Forget a nod, you're in fucking dreamland and it's bliss.
