diazepam

I got put on temazepam for a week at 10-20mg each day since then I've been taking diazepam 2-5mg for about a week straight, now I have been taking 1-2mg for the last week and have missed 2 days without taking diazepam.
I dont want to take the diazepam now can you get withdrawals off such a lowdose, would promethazine help to relax me more at night.

I very much doubt you'll experience withdrawals from such a small amount for a short time. However it's not impossible, but will only be mild. Promethazine is an antihistamine and it very effective as a sleep aid. I find anything from 20mg - 50mg an hour before bedtime is a good non Benzo sleep aid. Good luck.

You should almost definitely be absolutely fine, withdrawals are technically possible, but if you do experience negative symptoms it's far more likely that it's psychological, ie. you're sort of thinking yourself into having withdrawal symptoms. Ditto what Dread calm said about Promethazine, very useful for sleep and your doc will have no problem prescribing it to you, passionflower and valerian root are also very good, common herbal sleep aids. You'll find them in any herbal medicine/health shop, or online.
