diazepam

Do you have any kind of tolerance to it? 20mg usually does me good for about 8 hours
 
60mg is WAY to much(if its your first time!!)
you would probably fall asleep and not feel very good the next day ,i say take around 20-30mg ...
 
for a first timer i would say take just 10 mgs and see how you feel...like said above, 60 mgs is way too much as you'd probably just get reallly drowsy and pass out..there isnt much fun in that..
 
the other night i did diazepam (valium) for the first time. ive got some experience with benzos, as ive been prescribed ativan before that. i took 10mg to start with, and it didnt do much for me, so i took another 20, and it floored me (in a good way). It probably lasted around 6 hours or so, so i took another 10 a little later on. i then proceeded to have a beer (only one). i felt great, but the next morning when i woke up, i felt like i had just been on a coke binge. so start low, wait about an hour, and add more as needed, but be prepared not to feel too great the next day if you take a pile of it.
 
yeah, the main thing i HATE about VALIUM is the very long half life it has!!shit, if i take 20 mgs of VALIUM tomorrow afternoon, and i wake up monday, i will feel very sluggish and tired throughout most of the day...thats why i prefer XANAX...then again it is much more expensive than VALIUm, so...
 
You would be foolish if you did not have a benzo tolerance to take more than 10mgs of Valium aka diazepam.
This might be okay, or maybe you'll need some more. But 20mgs will probably be more than enough until you start abusing benzos frequently. Try 10mgs and see what it does before you go higher.
I'm seeing a lot of these questions lately as well.. people who have never used a particular pharmaceutical drug before asking if it's okay to take these ENORMOUS amounts.
WHY do you people WANT to start out taking way beyond more than you need, risk overdose and MOST IMPORTANTLY build up a huge tolerance to a brand new drug the first time you use it? Health issues aside, this is just stupid. Think of how many doses you could save by starting off with a bite rather than trying to fit the whole cheeseburger in your mouth at once. It could mean the difference between a bottle of pills lasting you a week and a month. That's a 21 day difference. 21 days of getting high versus 7 days... come on now.
 
Oh.. and how is Xanax more expensive than Valium? I picked up a generic bottle of 20 .5mg generic alprazolams for only $10 the other day without insurance. That $10 to get me high for two weeks. If you can't afford that you are truly a Jew.
 
Um....How the fuck can 20 .5mg Xanax's keep you high for 2 weeks? Thats like the equivelent of 5 bars...or about one night of fun you wont remember :)
 
alert I think you completely missed the point of Soviet's post. Suggesting that someone take 5 bars in one night is exactly the kind of behavior Soviet was describing. Anyone with that level of tolerance is definitely part of the minority.
I think you helped answer his question regarding why people post here asking whether they should consume a huge amount of a pharamcutical they have no experience with. "Well if someone on bluelight did it, it must be ok"
