I have the impression that Valium is reducing side effects of venlafaxine

so it improves the anti depressant effect of venlafaxine

Venlafaxine (75mg) + Diazepam (10 to 20mg) vs Velafaxine (75mg XR) alone for mild chronical depressions

BDD may be the wrong place for your question. I think what you are looking for is whether there have been clinical studies conducted on these pharmaceutical drugs in the treatment of depression.

I recommend doing some searches on the medical research database Pubmed - http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed
If something has been done, you should find it there.

when i tried effexor, i did it for 6 days, anf when i quit, i got the worst migraines... effexor is notorious for its horrible withdrawl symptomes... but no pronlems taking both drugs at the same time should not be problem
