If the intent, your true intent, is to taper off benzos, why do you want to add an additional 10 mg diazepam on 15 mg you already took at once, when 15 mg is your normal daily dose per this taper? I am not sure I get it - are you just like saying fuck it and need to be relaxed? If so, I can understand, but I would just continue dosing 5 mg 3 x daily, for you have already run out, and express a desire to take 10 mg on the 15 mg you already took. You want a good taper to be well disciplined, so that it is not where you don't have enough, or are yearning for more, or asking permission from BL (I don't mean to offend, nor pass judgement, just see this as possibly a way to justify - I don't know that). Like 5 mg diazepam TID is good, stick to it, your levels will be consistent, and though it may be tough, and I know, it is best to keep consistent with a taper because, after all, it is a taper. I don't want to get much into that, but I can say taking another 10 mg would make you feel more relaxed if the 15 mg did something - that is only expected. Benzos aren't really taken for the rush (not part of why I take them), but more for the effects, on the whole. So, re-dosing is fine in that way, if you can handle that dose. I do not know your tolerance, but 25 mg diazepam is not a crazy amount - still those with low or no benzo tolerances have told stories (many, many people) of how just a therapeutic dose knocked them on their ass, and more than that caused wild behavior and black-outs. So, you know your body, and if it would be unwise to take the diazepam based on tolerance. I just think it is unwise, regardless, because of the fact you are trying to taper.
