Benzos Diazepam tastes different per brand?

I recently switched brands of generic diazepam. The new brand totally tastes different and just wondering if anyone else has had similar experience. Both are India brands, in blister packs and shaped the same but the new ones I got dissolve much faster sublingually and don’t taste nearly as bitter. Kinda feel like they are weaker as well. Any insight is appreciated, I don’t want to be taking something other than diazepam.

I get that with my oxy. Completely different flavours between oxynorm, endone and generic.
Weirdly.. the strongest flavour is the one with the least additives

Different binders and formulations do taste differently... usually due to the presence or lack of various sugars they use as binders.
