Has anyone ever used the diazepam rectal gel which comes in an anal syringe via other ROAs such as oral or nasal? Does it work well like that with a good bioavailability and no irritation?

Why are you apposed to plugging it? Its a good ROA once you get over the initial 'yuck' feeling lol

I have interstitial cystitis (bladder damage) from ketamine abuse. Lots of painful bladder and pelvic spasms. Urologist said it acts locally better when administered near the bladder (not sure if I believe this).Never even knew you could get 'rectal gel' benzos haha.

Anyways my ass itself is in so much pain because physical therapy involves a therapist sticking their hand up your ass to stretch out your bladder and your colon and intestines get crushed by the bladder spasms and you get constipation...so I dont want to admit minister the diazepam rectally anymore because I feel it just irritates the area more

What about dissolving the valium in water, and then drinking it? Should be pretty light on the body I would assume? In that situation I would not be putting extra things up there either. I would imagine that whole area is very irritated.

Bro, when I had that, i was sure oral diazepam made my pain worse! Sublingual helped a bit but didn't really touch it.
Get some naproxen, or ibuprofen if you cant.
Drink sugar free blueberry juice or eat blueberries. Everyone says Cranberry but that makes it worse!
I fucking feel your pain bro. Mine was terrible.
In rehab they also gave me a medication called oxybutyn or oxybutynin for a month. It really helped my bladder. And i was on co-amoxiclav to help clear the infection, took 2 x 7 day courses and a 10 day course to finally clear.
Never had physical therapy for it. Glad too by the sounds of it.
How much water are you drinking?
Avoid caffeine or fizzy drinks! And sugary ones. I literally lived off water and blueberry juice for a month.

Make sure you tell them you think it’s irritating you more. There should be more options to help.
Cystitis is very painful so I really feel for you.
As for taking it orally, I’d just wonder what other ingredients are in the rectal solution.
Make sure you’re taking an osmotic laxative like movicol to ensure you’re not constipated.

I actually think I have a load left over I dont need anymore. Its not a controlled medicine so it wouldn't be against BL rules for me to send it to you. It may be out of date but going by the rules of most medications that wont matter

According to google:
"Diazepam rectal gel contains 5 mg/mL diazepam, propylene glycol, 10% ethyl alcohol, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, sodium benzoate, 1.5% benzyl alcohol, benzoic acid and water."
Not sure if some of these ingredients could be problematic and/or cause more irritation in your case. I know propylene glycol can have laxative properties but not too sure about the rest (there's ethanol but only a very small amount), sorry I can't provide a better answer...
I think the best option would be to talk with your doctor about this, I don't see why he wouldn't give you pills or some oral formulation if you tell him what you told us.
In your case I would probably take the gel as intended in the meantime as opposed to taking it orally and risk getting annoying side effects.

@4meSM aye I know pal I've spent alot of time in that thread. Mainly becasue I went through the same/similar if not worse myself years ago and wanted to help others/share what worked for me in the end after years of suffering.
Also ftr I didn't mean take the rectal gel sublingually i meant get some normal tablets and take them that way

...thanks jhjhsdi. Wow those are some brutal pictures....I've had blood in my urine but not visible to the point like you showed. The urologist just confirmed it under a micrscope for me. I've never had the white chunks either.I finally posted those pics.

MODS I would appreciate you linking Js posts and pics to my psychedelic ketamine damage sticky thread.
I don't even think the inside of my bladder is particularly bad these days...I've just gotten a lot of pelvic floor dysfunction since the bladder damage that has persisted.
My biggest pain right now is the pelvic floor and anal pain and all that region spasming the most...not the bladder itself although there is spasm there but less so. I am also having over all GI pain that may be related to the pelvic floor dysfunction and constipation is causes. I'm seeing a GI specialist soon.
I've tried tamulosin but I just stopped it because these GI symptoms started around the time i began tamulosin so i want to make sure it's not causing the problems...plus the bladder and urethral area isn't that bad right now. So u think the oxybutinyn would even be worthwhile right now?
On the diazepam...I'm just gonna score my sublingual region with a scraper and administer the gel there.

...opiates seem to flare the bladder pain itself. I've used them when the pain was unbearable and they mask it for sure but they seem to aggravate or prolong the flared state so I've developed a fear of them after a few incidents.

Opiates never really helped me either at my worst. Even high doses of oxy

I did have about 0.5 mg of Indian pharma etizolam and I had the worst flare of my life the next day.
But the diazepam gel hasn't flared me. Not sure if it was the etiz and additive or just coincidence but I have a lot of those etiz pills I'm scared to try.
The diazepam rectal gel is super expensive even with insurance so it's not going to be sustainable.

I'm feeling scared of that shit man. I've taken other brands of etiz heavily after already having IC and not had problems or flares pop up...I even took this particular brand I'm scared of one week before the incident where it fucked me up without a problem but holy shit when I took it again a week later was hands down the worst pain in my life that required 16 mg hydromorphone per day with zero opioid tolerance to keep me from killing myself.
Its always hard to figure out what caused a flare when I'm being so careful with foods and stuff and it happens anyways
Why sublingual in Hopes that it wont absorb additives if that's what the danger was?

Yea id wager that it flared up because you swallowed it and something in your stomach didnt agree.
Hopefully sublingually it wouldn't do that.
