Diazepam metabolites

Hi, please excuse me if I’m in the wrong forum. I was prescribed Diazepam and had a car accident. I was drug tested and am showing for diazepam, oxazepam, and temazepam. I have never even heard of the last two before today. From my research both are metabolites of diazepam. I go to court next week for a jury trial. Should I be found not guilty because of the metabolites or guilty because of the metabolites. I’m very nervous. I can’t eat, sleep, or quit shaking. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thank you in advance for any help given.

I'm not sure what your specific question is. Both are indeed metabolites of diazepam.

They aren't going to charge you with additional drugs because of metabolites.

But yes, you can still get DWI even from prescribed medication.

What is going to happen is they are going to test the levels in your blood, if it's higher than expected (you've been taking more than prescribed) you might be in big trouble.

Lawyer up now.
