Benzos Diazepam/Dihydrocodeine combo

I guess to get more out the smaller dose as OP seems to be used to a little more DHC.

But I agree with Ho although I think 10mgs of Diazepam would suffice since you have no tolerance to Benzos.
 
20mgs duazepam for a first time user is way too much. The benzos and opiates potentiate each other. Hence both will have a greater effect and that 20mgs of diazepam will put you to sleep before you really get to enjoy it. 5-10mgs would be a more sensible dose with the dihydrocodeine.
 
well Iam not a totall benzo virgin I had a 0.5xanax from wich I was buzzing good I also used to take 20mgs of Diazepam for recreation few times but I think I have no tollerance to them yet and from 10mg of diazepam I didnt feel much but I guess with the DHC it will be enough
 
Its good that you not a 'benzo virgin'lol at least that rules out any hypersensitivity or adverse reaction. What I was more concerned with was tolerance or lack there of. Mixing these two drugs together will increase their effects (good and bad) by at least 2x (ime) but the good thing is that theres no enzyme depletion like you get with codeine so you can take a much lower amount at the start and add more in increments until you get to where you want to be. Bear in mind also that diazepam although its effects are felt quickly, is a long acting benzo and can take up to two hours to reach highest plasma. So all the effects can take that long to be apparent. Ime this is especially apparent with the sedative aspect of diazepam, maybe something to do with its metabolites being better hynotics then there parent(?). Anyway I might be able to help with anything else you want to ask with these two substances as ive got alot of experience with both. :-)
 
if it takes up to 2 hours to reach highest plasma level when is the safest point to take before DHC or Codeine so both do not reach peak at the same time.
 
I would take the diazepam an hour and a half-2hours before hand if you want to peak from diazepam first. Personally id do the dhc first to enjoy the nice clear opiate comeup and after an hour do the diazepam to give a nice nod effect on the back end. Promethazine is quite nice with dhc aswell. Increases the effect of the dhc and brings on a nice nod. Also antihistamines are alot safer to mix with dhc then benzos.
 
generally use diphenhydramine 50 - 100mg 30 mins before i take codeine do you have much experience in the difference of the effects of this antihistamine and promethazine?

I sometimes do tramadol + DPH + codeine + Diazepam and maybe even 1 soma. It is a lot to mix but gets to a very nice high comparable to much stronger opiates i know the dangers tho .
 
I meant to ask sorry if promethazine would be safer in terms of respiratory depression.

Thanks for the update.
If you have no tolerance to diazepam and 10mg didn't do much, then why tamper with your tolerance when you would most likely get a better effect from the DHC on its own, and when you do one day need to take the valium, you know that they will work.
I was thinking more along the lines of keeping your tolerance to diazepam as low as possible for as long as possible, it just seems a waste to use them recreationally when they didn't do much.
I wish I still had no tolerance to benzos in general, for me, once the tolerance "drops anchor" (with benzos), it doesn't go down again.
 
thnx guys very usefull replys shreddedlettuce thats wright but you could think the same way about DHC what if I will be in a lot of pain in the future and I will have a tollerance to opioids but I dont mind because Iam not a regullar user of these meds because where I live you cant get these so easily and I am not going to lie to a doctor because I want meds I just stumbled upon the diazepam and DHC I seriously doubt I will get another package of these so Iam not afraid of addiction or big tollerance to these substances at all
 
Fair enough. (about your small "package" of diazepam).

Just to clarify, IME tolerance to benzos happen so much faster, even at prescribed doses, than opiates, and with benzos it just stays very high. Even if I take a few days break.
Again IME if I take the prescribed dose of an opiate my tolerance stays level. If it does become higher then after a small break (a few days) it levels out again.

NB. I am referring to prescribed doses and not recreational doses.
