I did kind of post another thread about this but Im not sure that I understand. Basically, I have been on daily benzos for about 3/4 years but now only take 1.25-2.5mg of diazepam a day. I have some oxycodone and id like to try it.

Now the thing is, I know the daily benzo dosage is tiny, but would being on it for so long (i used to take about 30mg a day when i started but ive been on 2.5mg a day for about 6 months). Now I guess my question is would that long on a long half life benzo mean that its built up in my body so much that any opiate is gunna be very strongly enhanced to the point of being dangerous or does the tiny daily dose of diazepam make this risk none existent? I only want to try 10mg of oxy as has been suggested to me.

Thanks :)

Yeah the small amount of diazepam that your bodys accustomed to isnt going to make a difference. Feel free to take the oxy.

Indeed that won't be a problem and neither with Oxy in that dose.

So I guess my next question is the 10mg didnt really do anything! Should i go to 20 or try to empty half out of a capsule for 15mg? I guess my only issue with trying to do that if the capsules are tiny and i dont want t waste them!

Like I said, 10 mg is a very small dose. I don't think it gets smaller than that.
Take another one and build your way up. 5mg will do nothing either. For some only 30 will work.
This is really what you are wishing for! (?)
If I could go back in time, that's the thing I would not do. I spent 20 years to end this and it all starts just like that for most of us. In my case it was due to real pain.
There is always someone that breaks that to you and you don't want to hear that, I know.

Opiates are very addicting and once you've experienced its taste, you will be doing it very often, that's how it works. It's gonna be the important thing you'll have to do and it always comes first..
Sooner or later you might be surprised if 200 mg no longer fits your needs.
It's a costly habit and it's 4life..Just thought you should know.:\

30mg seems to do it for me but pleased be warned that once addiction sets in, its one hell of a battle to come off them. Its hell so please be careful xxxRachelxxx

Thank you for the advice, its definitely something I will think about, especially as I have a very addictive personality.
