Hey, I came across a bunch of 5mg Diazepam from 1998... Is it safe to take them ?
I used to enjoy xanax and by enjoy I mean, I ripped through bottle after bottle of them, but never came across Dazie's
I can find some information but it's not really that specific to what I need.

Diazepam and Mirtrazapine - Bad combination, I know you shouldn't mix benzo's with SSRI's but what's the actual effects ?

I enjoy the sort of "monging" out you get off benzo's, so what would be a good strong dose to fuck me up, but not physically...

It is perfectly safe to take them.

Also there are no apparent contraindications between SSRI's and benzos, in fact it is one of the most commonly prescribed combinations.

Dosage is all dependent on tolerance. Besides Bluelight isn't a tool to tell you how much to take to "Fuck you up".

They are fine to take if they are old. The only thing that happens to benzo's as they get older is they sometimes become less potent so you may need to take more than usual.

So yeah you can take them and it will be fine but dont do this:

don't take for example 20mg diazepam from 1998 and then next time you want to use diazepam remember that you used 20mg and then take 20mg NEW diazepam because new diazepam should be more potent and if you take the same amount NEW than you did from 1998 you may take too much next time if you find new diazepam

5mg is not much, u should be fine if you feel anything. Docs will, usually start you on 10-20mg. Plus Diazepam is a generic Valium which is much weaker than xanax so you might not feel it so much or enjoy the feeling like xanax gives you. Safe with SSRI's yes.

They are safe to take and likely still potent. I remember reading about some guy who got high off of some Librium from the 70's.

Well said, from what I can tell most studies done regarding SSRI's interaction(s) with benzodiazapines have produced similar and positive results for treating anxiety/depression/ocd/etc. That being said, I should caution you against using any other excitatory drugs alongside benzos (for a long period of time) which can sometimes result in even worse benzo withdrawls. the body's fight to maintain homeostasis after taking benzos can cause an andergenic rush (causing the shakes, seizures, or even death). Most people survive, but from personal experience I can tell you it's not enjoyable. "The shakes" makes it sound so harmless when it's really a serious symptom of withdrawl.

GL, stay safe. Peace
