Diazapam and K-Pins?

It's quite a pleasant combination in my opinion... Just be careful of how many you're taking (I find whenever taking benzos recreationally it's helpful to keep a written list of everything I took and at what time, or to send myself a text message each time I take a pill so that I don't over do it & so that I can figure out when I'm going to sober up)... Which brings me to my second point: long half-lives. Klonopin has a halflife of around 36 hours and valium's halflife is 50-200 hours. Keep this in mind when using these specific benzos recreationally, as you may find yourself sedated for a few days afterwards (which can be quite problematic if you have shit to do the next day! =P)

It's a fantastic combo for a chill evening at home/with friends. Just be safe, keep a record of how much you're taking, and enjoy :)

Dude........I'm a Pro, just the 2mgs of the K-pins.......But 100mgs of the Diazapams, 2 16 oz of beer's (Canadian ) and 2 J'S...................Feeling.....................Good!

You can take benzo (I'm talking about huge dose, e.g. 50mg Valium or more) with alcoohl IF YOU are NOT DRUNK, if not you will go direct to the hospital (I experienced that in the past, I was conscious, lying on the flor and incapable to move, horrible sensation )

NEVER BENZO with HUGE ALCOHOL DOSAGE especialy Hard alcohol like Vodka / Scotch (2 beers (16 oz = half a liter for european people) is OK of course)

But don't drink 5 Scotch's !!!!! with 100 mg Diazepam

Just because a drug has a long half-life does not mean that the drug lasts that long. It just means that it takes longer for the drug to leave your body. I take Valium everyday for tapering off Klonopin and the effects last 4 hours. In fact, Klonopin has a shorter half-life but a longer duration than Valium, almost twice as long. On another note, its the metabolites of Valium that make its half-life as long as it is.

You know you're own comfort zone with these drugs man, we're all different. I think, off the top of my head, that 10mg of valium is worth one of clonazepam if that is any help. Take what you're gonna take, and then hide them in a place where you'll never be able to find them lol

I thought it was more like 20-30mg diazepam = 1mg clonazepam. Anyway I enjoy this combo, I occassionally get my hands on a pile of val 10s and I find 40-50mg diazepam + .5-1.5 clonazepam make a great combo. I normally take 2mg kpin per day tho so I have a kpin tolerance they're never recreational for me. Diazepam feels much more relaxing even euphoric in comparison to clonazepam. Who knows tho, I'm more an uppers guy so these benzos are usually either part of a pharmball or part of a crash remedy

Oh a word of caution, diazpeams long half life/metabolites(I know it has 200hr half life and nordiazepam/oxazepam/temazepam are the metabolites) I am not one to normally black out, I've been on ativan in the past and have 2 yrs kpin tolerance, but diazepam seems to just cause sudden blackouts, and its effects last days, taking my normal kpin dose day after recreational valium the potentiation/synergy was massive. Diazepam makes my suboxone 2mg intranasal feel nicer too. I'm wondering would taking cimetidine inhibit enzymes and potentiate valium AND klonopin or would it cause kpin to not metabolize and be weaker and make diazepam stronger but then what about its metabolites will the experience be significantly altered with addition of tagamet? One last question, does hydroxyzine potentiate benzos or just synergize in sedation?

How come Valium only lasts 4 hours for me and everybody else I know? In rehab it only lasted 4 hours for others, as it is administered every 4 hours for a reason. It starts to wear off a little earlier. I'm prescribed it for tapering and it would be great if I could take just one dose & be fine for "days". Maybe its just the peak I experience & nothing else later.

Hydroxyzine just synergizes the sedation. It doesn't make the benzodiazepine more powerful. I enjoy the combo because what I enjoy about benzodiazepines is the sedation/drowsiness. Benzodiazepines don't produce a real "opiate nod" but over sedation from a benzo (or barb) is the closest thing to it IMO.

Diazepam gives a very different feeling of anxiety relief, its a more pleasant mood mentally and physically for me. It has different plateaus of high it feels like

I'm prescribed it to taper off Klonopin & I don't get any "plateaus". Just one slight peak and then the effects are gone within 4 hours. I understand it has a half-life up to 200 hours (well, its active metabolites) but I've never experienced "days" of effects unless maybe I take a REALLY high dose it will last up to a day

I was doing 30-60mgish each day for a few days-and I was taking .5-2mg klonopin each day too. First few days felt more like 'daze'. The valium could knock me on my ass when I dosed it, kpin was a gradual general mood progression

Taper-wise it seems it would be a good benzo as well, when I ran short of my kpin script last time while on vacation I got home and one 10mg diazepam totally fixed all the subtle shakes and racing thoughts just general edginess its excellent for w/d when you only need a little and it fixes you for the entire day at rly low doses :)

10mg Valium = 0.25 kpin sooo thats 40 of valium = 1mg kpin, but i think the equivalency charts are full of shit when it comes to clonazepam potency. IMHO it sucks.

from personal experience, 10mg valium had more effect than 1mg klonopin or 2 for that matter
