So if my problem was in fact spiritual, what exactly would that imply? Are you referring to something along the lines of Logotherapy?
IDK what that is. A spiritual problem can be different things. Fallen angels rule this world for one thing, despite all the people saying God is in control (God is the one who called Satan the ruler of this world).
So if it were a fallen angel, what you would have is a spirit of confusion. You would have question marks where peace should be. God brings a Spirit of peace and not confusion.
So what you are dealing with is
Spirit of confusion
Spirit of peace
Or, it could be generated internally. If you do not have a relationship with God, there is a void that is never satisfied. You will continually try to fill it with sin, which won't work. And if you try to stop sinning, that won't work either. Some people try to get peace through superficial self-righteousness.
Everyone will have to deal with fallen angels, even if you have a relationship with God. It's just part of living in a fallen world. They are more evil than you can imagine (more evil than I could have imagined before I found out what I know). They are sentient beings, too. Not just a spiritual force.
So the answer, regardless, is to seek God and to seek peace.
Now, that is not to say some meds won't help. Vyvanese is a good one. But there are many meds that will hinder you, and things that hinder you are bad. When you get in the realm of bi-polar, that is where they start to think (based on theories) that hindering you can be a good thing.
Regardless of what you use in the physical, you can only get inner peace from one source.
Whatever you do, stay away from neuroleptics. They WILL hurt you.
Our brains often fail to properly interpret the world around us. That is because the world, along with the brain, is fallen. Often, people try to make sense of the world around them using their own human understanding. And that is where major problems arise. Because then they take what they observe, fail to verify it objectively, and act based on a false understanding.
Some questions are good to ask. Why is the world dying and decaying, and why is there something instead of nothing in the first place. Then, how is it possible that the something that IS here is so complex and perfectly put together, yet still dying and decaying? The Spirit of peace brings answers to questions like these. The spirit of confusion has endless question marks, and the one who brings the spirit of confusion tries to keep you asking the wrong questions.
