Diablo II: Lord of Destruction

Aw shit i used to pimp everyone at duels in this game :)

I had a barb with an ith sword, back when you couldnt fu'k with ww barbs :)

I would have a fucking ball playing duels..nk camping n shit, for lulz i would die laughing at these kids gett8n all pissed

I was in a clan too JJE, i had a blast doin clan duels
 
I get turned-on just thinking of diablo 3 ;) haha no not really but everytime i see DIABLO i get all giddy.

I dont play D2 anymore because its not the same, all it is now is "RUSH FOR FORGE" and then "BAAL/SANCTUARY RUNS" and thats it. Shit like Tal Rasha armor is like worthless now, i remember the last time i played a few months ago I got rushed or bot and usually the bot or whoever that kills the shit would pick up valuable items... the tal rasha armor dropped and he just left the game.. i was like fuck im pickin that shit up!

But now its all about those rune things n shit and bots 24/7 unfortunately.

BUT I cant wait for D3 to come out because there wont be any level 90s or 80s for a while and rare stuff will actually be RARE and no one will have all the best stuff and so many new items and just EVERYONE starting from the beginning... i just hope that they change the look of D3 to a more dark/gothic look how it was before and not all WoW like.. either way ill still play it and love but it i would love it alot more if it was more dark..

There is a video of what im talking about on youtube of someone just making the gameplay more darker and it looked 10x better than how it did before
 
For fun I installed Diablo + Hellfire last week and played a few hours. Not sure if I'll pick it back up again, but it was fun to reminisce.

Will definitely pick up D3
 
diablo 2 LOD took a lot of my youth growing up...

i remimber when the windforce, qnd grandfather were like the shit.
then LOD came out,
ith_QUARKthegraat shit came out (eth cb's)
patchs came out fuckin ruststorm fuckd me for a while, but got back on my toes.
new rune combos n shit, i think BOTD jus came out big? like botd ezerkers fucking 315%ed. shit was gangsta, cta flail fucking perf, like 5/6/5 or something.
pretty much everyone ownd atleast once piece (if not more) rune combonation armor/shield/sword/etc..
hell enigma archon plates, and (umm forgot the name..but its like the top grade of leather.. for sorc's or somehting that has to max other atributes).

yeah i gotta admit, this game was the shit, i learned it well.
then went to fucking jail and rehab. so lost it all....

i'm into other rpgs, like fable, oblivion, the sims medieval. etc..

that shit pissd me off when i lost my account.. really fucking did. dont know if i can pick up the game again.
 
Blizzard is notorious for taking a long long long time to make games but every time they do it redefines the genre. Look for D3 to be more of the same, I wouldnt be surprised if it takes another 2 years to come out (I hope its its quicker).
 
anyone have a d2jsp?? i played for 8 years then quit and played wow for a year and now i dont play any video games
 
There is talk of D3 going into beta in Q3 of this year and a possible release in Q4 2011 however I think it is FAR more likely to end up being released in Q1 2012. :) I'll keep you posted if any news on the release date surfaces.
