So i have diabetes type 2, and just checking my blood sugar it was 29 which is way high (should be about 7) and i feel like my body and nerves are on fire and my hands and feet are shaking, its like RLS all over your body all the time.

what drugs should be avoided when on meds with diabetes.

the only upside to this drug is droning yourself in sugar until your organs give up and you pass out but id rather an opiate or sleep drug

DUDE. Holy shit. 29 is out of fucking control. Have you checked for ketones?? Letting your levels get that high is really dangerous and just asking for longterm damage to kidneys, eyes and extremities. Sorry to lecture but I've lived with this shit most of my life and am resolute in the fact I don't want to be blind, on dialysis and unable to get a boner.

I have had type 1 since I was 6 - my blood sugar was 44.2 when I was diagnosed!! They couldn't understand how I was still conscious. Anyhow, in terms of what to be careful with:

-Alcohol: Sugar raises the blood sugar (obviously). Alcohol can lower it. Alcoholic beverages contain both these things to some degree. With type 2 I would just try to avoid sugary beverages - even some beers can contain a reasonable degree of carbohydrates - stick to drier beers, mix your spirits with diet coke/diet lemonade whatever. Most importantly, keep a close eye on your levels. When I'm drinking (in a session) I'll usually check almost every hour to make sure I'm not too high (or low) and do insulin/consume sugar to adjust

-Stimulants: Stimulants, particularly methamphetamine (unfortunately my drug of choice) will tend to raise blood sugar levels. So, I would probably avoid these.

I haven't had any noticable effects from any of the other drugs I've tried (LSD, 2C-B, Ketamine, Marijuana)

Seriously, if your blood sugar is as high as you say it is you should be staying the fuck away from ALL drugs - your toxin-filtering organs are alrady under a huge amount of stress. But, that's easier said than done I suppose. Hope some of this was helpful and/or relevant to you.

By the way - "Drowning yourself in sugar until your organs give up" is an upside? That's fucking stupid. Death by ketoacidosis induced organ failure is not a pleasant way to go (from all accounts, anyway).

well i cant find secobarb or anything good can i?
whats a smack OD like, think its painless?

right wing bullshit is what it is
woulodnty wish my worst enemy this pain and life
suicide should be legal

Yeah man, I second the suggestion to go see a doctor. I'm sorry, you obviously have some nasty shit going on in your life at the moment - if you find the right doctor they may just be able to help. Don't turn to killing yourself just yet.

And if Type 2 diabetes is the only pain in your life you are referring to - a doctor will definitely be able to help. Get your blood glucose levels/diet/exercise/etc under control and you won't even notice you've got it the majority of the time.

If you don't see a doctor pretty much immediately you'll be in a whole world more of pain, probably with no sweet death at the end of it. 29 is no joke mate.

Yeah diabetes sux. My friend keeps having mega lows (she is insulin dependant). The doctors keep changing her medication and insulin levels, it's all very confusing. On top of that she also has major nerve pain and (as per your other thread) takes Lyrica. The Lyrica for her (i just asked) is very expensive and not on the pbs (even tho she is always in mega pain and nothing else works for her nerve pain). She pays alot per pack of Lyrica, but also says it does help the pain ALOT. She has also mentioned several times it's nearly not worth living with the pain.

Discus your BSL's as soon as you can with your Doc man, i know my friend is supposed to be around 7-9 i think she said and was going down to 1-3 levels a fair bit. Scary, she couldn't talk, walk or move properly, she was nearly in a diabetic coma, which left long enough could have killed her apparently.

Also check the dark side threads on bluelight, you'd be amazed how helpful some of the people are on their and some of the stories on it.

ive been in hospital and the doctors are as fucking useless as GPs.. wow.. saline and a blood sugar check and eat a tablet or sometimes inject insulin. noobs didnt even know how to get a vein properly. what a joke this healthsystem is.

You ate a bunch of pills and light fires saying fuck Jesus and Mary and you're suprised you get locked up?

I try being patient but if thats how you act you can deal with your own fucking problems, people like you are the reason we drug users get such a bad wrap from everyone else.

i hadnt taken drugs for a year or something kid. i snapped
and if not believing in a virgin birth and bullshit like a man in the sky and jesus etc is insane.. then what the fuck.. chrixstian filth put their banners up saying praISE THE LORD everywhere. and pollute sound all the time by singing pedophiles and choir boys.

im seeing someone now but with all the physical things wrng with me and mental i am high maintenance for most doctors they give up, like friends and most people
great life huh
not trolling either

has you retested your sugar? just check it isn't an aberrant reading. 29 is high and you will may go into HONK (hyperosmolar non keto acidosis) - more common in type 2 than type 1 ( they get DKA more). and you will dehydrate and need fluids. then insulin and see a DM educator, doctor etc
go to a hospital.

its between 14 and 18 currently on glycade whatever its called one in the morning with 3 diabex XR, then another diabex after each meal and an extra one before bed. lowest its gone to is 10.2 but that was a once off and probably hadnt eaten much? going to the doctor now to report my 12 pricks a day for the last few days. ive been collapsing and all sorts of fucked shit.

well sounds like you're onto it. it can be dangerous and i've seen people in intensive care from HONK.
maybe time for insulin for you which gives way better control once you learn it. best to have control than a heap of triple therapy doing nothing and sugar wrecking your eyes and kidneys

good luck!

well looks like im insulin dependant the readings are too high.
im having seizures each night and still fainting and shaking and my eyes have pressure behind them and my feet hurt more than just RLS and pain as usual. dont really want my feet to become one big ulcer.

anyone that has to use the pen or needles for insulin here?

Does it leave horrid marks and does it hurt. I am an ex IV user and have no problem with IV it doesnt hurt going in or pushing down, but IM'ing and SCing drugs always hurt like hell especially accidently with meth. and left big black marks., i dont know if i could handle that

the only thing good about this is i can get unlimited needles for nothing basically but i dont use any more .. oh and i can get asian girls to cut my toenails for free now! might be useful as my nails grow like crazy and gross and i cant even cut them. mostly from laziness

these metformin tablets (diabex) seem to me making me lose weight, lost nearly 15kg in 2 weeks

it's in a pen called 'novopen' and it's a tiny needle around a cm long that is injected into your stomach skin, not IV at all.
so it leaves no marks but you have to rotate sites so little lumps don't form called lipomas from the high insulin stimulating that little area.
they are not injecting needles like addicts use, they are little cap like needles. might have a little bruising on the tummy and you can rotate to other areas, hidden from view so it keeps your dignity intact

enjoy the nail primping!
