dhc v's tramadol?

It's a different type of high.

Personally, I'd prefer the 150mg of DHC. More of a body high (as it's metabolised to a "true" narcotic - dihydromorphine).

i prefer DHC by faaar, but you'll need more than 30mg for a recreational trip.. i'd say 90mg min for a sall(ish) person.. 120mg for a bigger person (with no/low tolerance)

If i leave a four hour gap between doses will i get the same effects from 120mg dhc?? unlike codeine most people say yoi gota take all the codeine at once and has a ceiling dose,What about dhc is it the same??Whats the max you would need for a veteran opiate user taking dhc tabs 30mg's am thinking 120-150 max? that to low or could i push it a lil higher to 210??

In my experience you can get a really nice high from both together at 1 point i was taking 4 dhc then 4 tramadol an hour later they really go nicely together was just a shame my doctor stopped the tramadol as he said i couldn't have both :-(. Luckily for me my m8 gets tramadol off his doctor n i just swap him some viagra for em now
As for dosing i try to use the tramadol in winter when my leg is really bad, i take my dhc 30mg in 2x4 doses each day.

DHC all the way, Back when i could actually get high on that shit, I could get a sweet buzz going with a bunch of DHC and st. johns wort-aided CYP3A4 induction.

Now I sniff three 8mg Suboxone and I get half that buzz, haha.

I take tramadol everyday and I've never had a hangover from it, what are you talking about? I prefer the tram to codiene I can say that much. because I can get both whenever I want, but codiene is easier for me to get, for codiene all I gotta do is go to the drug store (it's otc here) but tram I have to go out of my way to order it, and I go out of my way and get the tram instead everytime, but sometimes I do get both

my experience with both have been quite strange.
When I first began with codeine and DHC they were my wonder drugs, the perfect drugs for me, no more no less.
After 2 years taking codeine regularly 2 to 3 times weekly I stopped both for a matter of months, due to my sources being cut off.
When I went back on the codeine, no matter how much I took I couldn't get the same feeling again, something had happened within me. This saddened me greatly.
I remember trying Tramadol during my glorious codeine period and it not really impressing me or giving me much of anything.
But now, I have a real easy source of getting Trams and so I resorted to them to gibe them another shot, low and behold no they are the drugs that work for me. They give me exactly the same feeling I used to get on codeine only MORE. And so the magic has returned for me.
With tramadol for me it works exactly the same way as codeine did when it comes to re-dosing, a hit a number of hours later won't get me where I went earlier and is relatively unnoticed. In fact the way it works for me best is to put a 1 or 2 day gap between each session to guarantee that same buzz everytime.
Tramadol is pretty amazing if you have the right body metabolism for it and once you get your ideal dosage figured.
Just because Tramadol isn't classified as a 'true' narcotic doesn't mean it won't make you feel a true narcotic buzz, only your own body can tell you that after consumption. Because of my easy access of obtaining Tram I feel like one lucky bastard that it gets me where I want to go, some people just don't have those lucky enzymes and it will never work for them.

See it's just plain ignorant to say a certain drug 'sucks' in general, because drugs aren't general, they are dependent on the person taking and how well their receptors jig-saw into place with the drug and how their body's metabolism deals with it.

When referring to Dihydrocodeine William Burroughs said: 'Trust the nazis to invent something twice as strong as codeine, almost as good as heroin and with a wired coke like edge to boot.'

For me this describes Tramadol more accurately than DHC, that's exactly how it makes me feel, but that's just me. If DHC doesn't work for someone else this doesn't mean it sucks, it means it doesn't work for them. It obviously worked for Burroughs, a man who had a life-long love for Codeine, which is considered to be the weakest of al the opiates.

I find tramadol to be on par with heroin and hydrocodone ( I rank these three as my favorite opioids; yes above hydromorphone, above oxycodone).

Now subjective effects of tramadol vary widely, as you can see from this thread. Some people find it ass, some don't. Figure out what you enjoy.

Tramadol is ineffective for pain and ineffective for producing a high/buzz. I don't like it, it's uncomfortably stimulating. Not the euphoric stimulation like oxycodone, nor the relaxing sedation of hydrocodone. I prefer DHC although neither I have been able to get a true narcotic buzz, just not strong enough.

I love the stimulation from tramadol, it makes me productive and ready to do all kinds of shit, it's pretty much what made me fall in love with Tramadol and after a whole day of dosing on it, you can feel an opiate euphoria/relaxation definitely present., I've gotten to the point with my tolerance where 35 mg hydro doesn't even get me high anymore, but I still feel 200 mg tramadol like a muthafucka!, I take it Everyday and love it. makes me a better person, clean the house, play with my daughter, work on music, make dinner, and it even made me stop drinking... I would be shit on a shingle without it at this point.
