DHC not as impressive as I thought (potentiation questions)

I like to take about 60-80mg of hydro (CWE of course) or Oxy 40-60mg

I got in some Teva DHC today and took 8x30mg IR pills = 240mg which should be about 480mg codeine or around 70mg hydro.

I feel good, lack of itchies is a plus but I don't "nod" like I do on even 50mg of hydro. What's up here?

Also does Tagament potentiate DHC? I know it doesn't for regular codeine so I didn't try. What about promethazine?

i dont have any real exp with these. ive heard down the grape vine that they basicly worthless if you have any kind of habit. i read somewhere that around 400mg = an 80mg oc. not really sure how much this info is ganna help you out.

as far as potentiation... im not really sure on that

I don't know if cimetidine would potentiate DHC but promethazine certainly would. It would only increase the drowsiness of the opiate, though; no increase in euphoria. I believe that is why it is contained in opiate cough syrups - that is, to produce better analgesic results

theres a good thread about this actually, search dihy with 'snorting' or 'plugging'
in my experience promethazine is the best potentiator for dhc, especially if you want that nod. just make sure its after youve let them hit a bit. also in terms of dosage id say you are going to need more if youre trying to replicate 60mg of oxy. i usually hover around 350, but who knows what that means
