Dhc 30mg

I believe tablets are crushed in a comfortable amount of luke warm water in a glass until dissolved then pulled up into a needlenes syringe and inserted into the anus and discharged until all the solution is gone

I'm looking for advice on whether it's okay to take tramadol and dihyrocodeine together? I currently take dihyrdocodeine daily and have done for most of my life for idiopathic pain I was born with, and also for horrible back pain.
My Dr surgery is often useless because if I get a new Dr I tend to get limited on my dihyrdocodeine for a while.
I was recently given a box of 50mg Tramadol and figured I could maybe use that to supplement my DHC but when I asked ai it about had a stroke.

I'm currently on 420mg DHC per dose, 2 to 3 times daily.
I've also never taken Tramadol before.

Should be fine*. Start with 50mg and see how you go. Increase gradually. Tramado increases seizure risk by decreasing seizure threshold


*Assuming no other contraindicated medical conditions or medication. Antidepressants being a big one. But still, not necessarily a reason not to.

Would I need to lower my dihyrdocodeine dose if I take the 50mg of Tramadol?

No other medications other that omeprazole.
 
I always found DHC less sedating than codine and was always my preference
It seems to give you an unusual amount of motivation to perform menial tasks that normally you wouldn't be arsed even contemplating
I found it interrupted my sleep several times a night and could make me drowsy the next day if i allowed it (by sitting on my arse at work) ,I've never had that problem with codine
 
If I take DHC close to bedtime it gives me mad insomnia. But if I go to sleep and wake up an hour or so later in pain and take a good dunt it gives me a great sleep. What the Fuck that's all about I'll never know 🤣

Yeh if I allow my self the next day to sit down and relax for five minutes I start nodding off but if I keep busy I'm fine
It seems to have more of a hangover affect than codine ,for me anyway

Yeah I know what you mean. For me it's totally random. Sometimes I can take, sit and watch tv and be totally high, relaxed and cosy without any tiredness. Then sometimes if I don't keep busy it causes an intense 'hot face' tired that no amount of caffeine can help. Only a 40 winks gets rid of it.

I used to love just popping 150mg and sit and watch TV with a cold beer
Made tv shows like "Great train journeys " actually seem interesting lol
 
Anyone got any experience with oxycodone 15mg prolonged release? Along with the tramadol I got I got a bunch of Oxys as well. Based on taking 420mg of dihyrdocodeine per dose, what would the dose of oxy be? And how does oxy feel compared to DHC?

Is your DHC prolonged release ,just out of curiosity
