Materials: Clear Ammonia, Naptha, Lemon Jucie, Cough Syrup containing DXM HBr (acceptable to use if contains Guafenisin). Mix equal amounts of NH4 and DXM HBr and invert 30 times. Add 10% Naptha to soln. and invert for 5 min. Siphon, decant, or zip-lock bag* clear layer of naptha. * Pour soln. in clear zip lock bag and let settle and poke a hole in the bottom of the bag letting the cough syrup and ammonia drain until only the naptha/DXM are in the bag. Pour back into flask, beaker, or jar(NOTE: Can let naptha naturally evaporate; make sure no red is seen. Means you screwed something up.) Add an equal amount of lemon juice to soln. and heat until majority of liquid evaporates. I find a hair dryer to be very effective.
