Although not medically an opiate analgesic it is chemically an opiate right?
(+) 3-methoxy-17-methyl-(9α,13α,14α)-morphinan
and isn't the levo isomer of methorphan an analgesic?
I should call up the isomer fairy and have her turn my robotussin into an opiate!
Edit: So doesn't dextromethorphan have limited action as an opiod agonist? And conversely, doesn't levomethorphan have limited action as an NMDA receptor antagonist?
