dextroamphetamine and effexor

I've been recently 'diagnosed' with depression and have been prescribed effexor xr and clonazepam. I've only been on it for 3 weeks while it apparently takes 4-6 weeks to reach effective levels in the blood or some shit. I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to take a few of a friend's dexies to feel a lil' high for most of tomorrow. I've read on drugs.com that one should 'Generally Avoid' mixing effexor and dextroamphetamine, but something tells me that the people at drugs.com don't like to party.

How big of a risk is serotonin syndrome anyways? I, like most people, did a few E binges back in grade 12 and no one I know had adverse side effects. My ladyfriend at the time was on paxil and did a metric fuckton of E to try to get high and feel the effects of the 2cb and baby formula that was mixed into the pills and didn't have any adverse medical reactions. I'm not certain on how SSRIs/SNRIs react with amphetamines, but if my memory serves me correct they just prevent you from feeling the effects of mdma.

Thanks

dexies have worked for me and i take 450mg effexor daily. E's forget it they wont work on effexor

^its not a matter of them not working, its a matter of them being DANGEROUS.

Listen to drugs.com and don't risk it.
