Dexedrine railing?

Adderall and Dexedrine definitely aren't the same thing. At lower doses and assuming no tolerance, it is hard to tell the difference between the two. But once you move on to larger doses or acquire a tolerance, you will probably find that dexedrine has a very clean, speedy buzz (compared to adderall). Higher doses of adderall (60mg or so) will give you some ridiculously unpleasant side effects that far outweigh the buzz you get, IMO. I used to trade my 30mg adderall's for 10mg dexedrine spansules. It might not even be a good deal, but for someone who takes these meds regularly, I can still get a nice buzz from dexedrine. I would try to get switched to dex but I might just end up snorting all of them in a week every month and fail out of college.

I disagree. I find that the adderall high is superior to the dexedrine high and has fewer unpleasant side effects. But it seems that there is a spectrum of personal preference with respect to these two drugs...
As for adderall vs dexedrine, no they aren't the same thing, although they are very similar. And although the levoamphetamine in adderall is inactive on its own, in combination with the dextroamphetamine it DOES have an effect/produce a synergy that straight d-amph lacks.

funny, i seem to recall you starting this how thing by calling me and "silly" and "correcting" my factual statement....i will call anybody an idiot if they "correct" me, call me silly even though they i was never incorrect in the first place.....at least practice what you preach("shut the fuck up") isnt the the best way to admit you made an ass of yourself, certainly no better than my idiot comment.....and by the way, comparing ativan & xanax to dexedrine & adderall wasnt meant to be scientifically precise....but it should of been planty close for your to see what i meant, just remember you created this mess yourself...i mean im wrong sometimes also but i make sure and apologize for being a dumbass and talking about something i have no clue about if i do....and whats with the "tactful", should i be more devious when insulting you or.....???

Wait, "about equal to an eight ball of coke" .. so you will snort 3.5g of Dexedrine to get yer speed buzz? Jesus that seems a little excessive for the weak ass high you would get from 35mg of d-amph .. do you not have access to meth in your area? A bump of crystal would blow away that mountain of powder yer snorting now... also, given that mass and the minimal amount of which is actually active drug, yer probably losing MOST of it down your throat anyway.. lets assume it IS 3.5g of powder (that could be about right for 7 pharmaceutical pills) .. 35mg is 1% of the total mass - do you REALLY THINK you're absorbing that vie yer mucas membranes and not just getting the same high you would as if you ate them? I'm sure you get a little bit of a rush that you wouldn't otherwise get, but for the sake of yer nose - just eat 'em!
 
in answer to the question: is it possible to extract the amphetamines? Yes it is possible, but if you are asking the question you probably dont have the chemistry expertise to do it. Find a freind doing 1st/2nd year college chem and get them to do an acid/base extraction for ya.
plenty of info on this type of extraction available at rhodium or erowid, have a look at some meth synthesis', they use the same principle in extracting meth from the reaction mix.

Just to clear things up, adderall is 4 salts, 2 of which are dextro and 2 of which are racemic. This means that adderall is (approximately, because the salts have different weights) 75% dextro and 25% levo. In theory, then, 20 mgs adderall should be equivalent to 15 mgs dexedrine, only with slightly more peripheral stimulation.

NO, adderall is NOT half active, it is half pure dextro salts. The other half is racemic, (and half of that, a quarter of the whole, naturally, is dextro, giving a grand total of 3/4s dextro.)
The levo isomer, incidentally, is not inactive, but it is believed to be less fun/therapeutic.
I will personally perform oral sex on anyone who can easily and consistently distinguish between 20 mgs adderall and 15 mgs dexedrine administered identically.
Adderall is a SCAM designed to A: get a patent for Shire and B: get rid of that "drine" suffix that has nasty associations for many parents. It worked wonders. Back in my "ADD" days, Ritalin was prescribed like candy and dexedrine was given as a last resort. Now amphetamines are immensely popular.
