I usually take 30mg adderall, half at first and the other half about 3 hours later. I now have Dexedrine 10mg and I'm wanting to know how much I should take to get the same effect, which is just staying awake and not being hungry. I don't want to be all geeked out or anything, I work 12hr overnights and have a 2 hour commute so I need to be awake and alert is all. Thanks for any help!

Thanks! What's the division for the difference? Just out of curiosity. I don't even know if that makes sense exactly, what I'm asking is what percent of Dexedrine is equal to 100% of Adderall? Is it 75%? And what are the differences in the effect? I have never even taken Ritalin before, just Adderall and I love how it makes me alert without feeling too wired or anything.

Its more like Dexedrine is 75% of any one given dose of Adderall (that is, Dexedrine is dextroamphetamine, and dextroamphetamine comprises ~75% of the formulation for Adderall, the other ~25% is levoamphetamine).
The differences of effect are different from person to person, a lot of people (myself included) consider Dexedrine to be the more recreational and effective of the two. The levoamphetamine in Adderall gives me issues with anxiety and jittery-ness. Your results may vary, however. Chances are that if you like how Adderall makes you feel, you'll like and possibly love how Dexedrine makes you feel.
