Dex -> Ice comedown

Got the opportunity to try some "high quality ice" which will set me back $xyz a point, but I want to know how bad is the meth comedown? I've heard it's really bad but want to know how it compares to a dex comedown.

I can handle dex comedowns fairly easily (I dose 100mg in a night in my worst binges, 70mg standard) I find the comedown psychotic, like dreaming while awake until losing touch with reality, a lot of sense confusion, certain sounds 'transform' into other sounds mostly voices, movements in peripheral vision etc.

Even though the crash is pretty shitty I have a strong careless feeling, the paranoia doesn't get to me because I don't care, but I also become quite irritated.

Amphetamines in general also make me feel physically fucked up once i crash, ulcers all over my tongue, sore glands in neck and usually I've been in the same position for so long my muscles ache.

I'm expecting much much worse from ice but any advice on what to expect would be nice!

There is no way a point of 'ice' will create a come down as terrible as you just described... not matter what the quality... not from 1 point alone..

I find the comedown from ice tends to be smoother, especially in a physical sense, but also more prolonged.

D-Amp causes a lot more physical stress than ice does and has a much wider side effect profile, which accounts for the godawful comedown. I find with Dexies, however, that I usually feel fine after a good meal or two and 24 hours rest, while ice has a more subtle but prolonged effect on my mood, I'll often feel edgy or slightly depressed for days, but not realise it until I wake up one morning and wonder why I was so dispirited yesterday.

On the other hand, ice doesn't cause as much physical stimulation, so there's less of the aches/ulcers/palpitations/general feeling shit physically that the d-amp comedown causes.

I haven't taken large doses of D-Amp so I can't comment on any severe comedowns.

Ice can have a pretty severe comedown. expect inability to sleep, heart palpatations, paranoia and being in a shocking mood. You should be able to sleep a day after you stop (hopefully).

However, if you are just having a point you should be alright. expect a comedown but nothing too bad.

i find D-Amp fine and Meth horrible... I can even sleep after d-amp IV, yet couldn't do anything similar with meth.

Sounds as though you should steer clear of amps all together, those are some pretty intense side effects no matter how much dex you had!

That's a good point, if you're experiencing psychotic symptoms after only a night of use, might be some underlying issues at hand that you don't want to provoke....

Amphetamines in general give me a shitty come down, although i've found ritalin to be the worst. i think i dosed 160mg, the come down off that was fucken balls, shakes & sweats.

Yeah I don't think there's any denying that d-amp will kick your ass around the room much faster than meth will. It's pretty rough stuff, for a pharmaceutical.

It's also much harder to binge on d-amp, after 8 - 10 hours the negative effects start to outweigh the positive ones, in my experience. Can't really do more than a night without sleep on it, or you just feel like you've been running your body and mind through a meatgrinder

Most psychotic symptoms come on from d-amp binges mostly, and mostly feels like standard sleep deprivation (I usually dose late at night). I'd agree with d-amp being awful after 10ish hrs, I find myself feeling baseline after dosing on a second night and feel pretty messed up the day after.

I get very minor 'headfuck' after a single night on dex, worst it gets after one night is the occasional corner of eye movement etc. Two nights however is when it really turns up the volume and hallucinations kick in.

I'm pretty mentally sound (I believe so anyway ) and like I said most the psychotic symptoms are pretty similar to pulling an all nighter anyway. Probably should of been more clear that the description of my crash earlier was from a 2 night binge.

100mg of dexies is about 20 tablets i think that is way too much for even a tolerant user , of course the side effects are way up there on the high end

You said it's apparently 'high quality ice'...lets say it was close to pure. In that case you'd probably find it worse than the dex comedown.

Chances are it's no where near pure. The comedown shouldn't be all that bad from a point of typical street 'ice'.

The only problem is you sound like the kind of person that might not stop after one point...and the potential for spending many days awake is higher than with Dex, which would lead to a harsher crash.

a point of ice shouldnt have a bad comedown, after about 3-4 points (depending on how often you smoke it) you will have a bad comedown. personally a comedown off ice isnt as bad as things like, pills, MD etc..
i find if i eat just as a realise im coming down, it eases the comedown so much.
also keep hydrated! its the worst when you have a dry mouth when your coming down, makes the comedown 100 times worse.
