no it looked like really good dope when i had it mixed. it was light tan colored and im used to getting stuff thats off-white. i really want to quit so i am probably going to use loperamide or suboxone if i can get my hands on it. who knows though, dope is dope and i love it.
 
The dope on the east side is still fire! Its kind of dark brown and grey combined, but is all chunks with no powder and kind of a bitch to crush. The smell is strange but the same as the fire that was around a few years ago, kind of vinegar with almost a strange coffee smell. Its not a normal coffee smell but that's what it reminds me of. But its strong so I guess it doesn't matter how it smells.

I haven't seen many cops in the neighborhoods lately, but watch speeding cause there are tons of cops on the main roads doing lots of traffic stops. Yesterday I saw two differant marked cars driving around with the black gangsquad cars right behind them, even though the gangsquad was supposed to be disbanded.

Why was the gang squad disbanded? Lack of funds? Or does Detroit suddenly not have gangs anymore? Like one morning did all the gangbangers decide, "Hey guys, this isn't cool, let's stop selling drugs and enroll at DeVry to become nurse practitioners and paralegals."
 
I believe they were disbanded because of the hundreds of citizen complaints DPD and the city recieved about the gang squad's "misunderstood" but "necessary" tactics. According to many people, they were harrassed and beaten by the gang squad when they had done nothing wrong.

I know of one person who was visiting some family in the neighborhood he grew up in and was stopped by a car full of 6 foot and up 250+ pound DPD gang squad cops. They were driving an SUV with big rims and dressed like gang bangers with big chains and bandannas. When they checked his ID and saw that he had a suburban address they accused him of being a drug dealer and told him to leave the neighborhood. When he asked why, they roughed him up pretty badly until he agreed to leave.

It seems like they love to rough up anyone they detain and they use the excuse that they have a dangerous job that 99% of the countries population is unwilling to do.

They had a 1 hour episode on National Geographic about the Detroit Gang Squad. They play reruns every once in a while. Its def. worth catching. A lot of it is them making excuses about their bad reputation lol.
 
split a half gram with my buddy today. it was some bomb shit. Off white powder, didn't seem to have large amount of insoluble cut in it. someone else was supposed to come with me. too bad for them ha ! they totally missed out on the bomb dope! I was nodding after my second shot pretty hard too. i completely enjoyed my high (and still am!!)

Human, How can you have not been to Belle Isle? (Oops, sorry, you said you dont know why) Its the greatest spot to be in the summer.
When you visit next time try and make it out on a warm day. When on your way be sure to stop by the Heidelberg Project on Heidelberg and Mt Elliot. Im an artist and art lover so if you love art you have to check it out.

Okay, lets talk dope.

Either Im getting shit that knocks my nose to the table for 20 minutes and holds me fair enough but with no real true heroin buzz, or the shit is shit and I barely feel it. I havent had a good warm buzz in a while. Id think that with all of Afghanistan growing poppies out their ass and all the government we have here to bring back the shit wed be in a junkies paradise. I wonder about al;l the stockpiles of dope somewhere sitting and wonder why its not being sold. It should be a buyers market out there.

Oh yeah, I used to get the Horshead there for years. You could drive right in if you were in a hurry and didnt mind taking the risk of gettin your car taken by the wack a mole squad.
The horsehead is still around but quality not so much.

Shit over here on the East Side is okay, nothin to brag about.

Wish I was back in Thailand.

yeah i agree with the above post about quality. I either fall out from the dope or it barely gives me a fuckin' buzz. it really hurts the wallet when its crappy dope. especially when i seem to always get shit dope the day of pay day. Hopefully more of this purer shit will hit the streets and my dealer in particular ;)

I just scored 6 packs and split it with my buddy today (who unfortunately just got into banging it, I tried to stop him but he had no problem figuring it out since he has awesome veins for it). It was tan colored and a bit rocky. Only thing is i had to heat it up for a couple of seconds on a spoon to get the rest of it to dissolve. Loved it and am still high like 4 hours later. yaaaay!
 
The last two weeks the dope that I've been getting has been incredible! On the east side it has been off-white and solid pieces, and the southwest side is brown powder with almost no smell. I have a high tollerance and snorting 4 packs of the brown put me on the ground! Wow! Happy times in the D.
 
Hope everyone is alright... Thread has been real slow. I just found out I have a warrent in detroit so I won't be around for a minute...so bummed. Nothin serious but I can't afford to pay a fine and be getting high. Enjoy it for me!
 
i just got in a car accident, actually i totaled my car, after scoring and heading back to work. good thing the dope was gone by the time the cops made it to my car. (yeah i slammed it before i could even leave the immediate area where i pick up, and no, that was not why the accident happened) I got some really damn good dope though. shit has been off the chain for the past few weeks. happy times....
 
I don't understand how dope in Detroit can be good. because heroin comes from either china or mexico....and detroit is a FAR transportation from both countries. the USA mostly gets black tar now, and detroits nowhere near the border so your stuff must get stomped on HARD befoire it gets to ya...idk I just really love the sh*t we get down here its amazing(socal) :D
 
Detroit dope is almost a thousand times better than that West Coast black tar. Detroit might not be a port city, technically, but I think shipments come in through Canada and then breach America through Windsor and the like

dope from the D can really be competitive as best product in the U. S, against the likes of NYC and Baltimore
 
I for one can vouch for the fact that Detroit has some bomb dope and I've never even been there. My girlfriend is from Detroit and has brought some back to Chicago that I've tried. Very small quantity but just as good as some of the best stuff I've gotten outta Chicago and good price too. The dope was maybe one third of tour average size bags from Chicago but also felt a lot more clean because they don't cut it with diphenhydramine like in the chi. Chicago has got that fire but the scene here is so vast and huge that it tends to vary a lot.
 
Hey everyone, glad to see a few familiar names in the Detroit Deisel thread. It's been a couple minutes, which felt like a couple millennia...but I had to straighten up and handle a few things there. Swinging by the ol' thread and hearing about all the fire dope is a little jeopardizing even to my shitty little half-hearted temporary attempt at sobriety. Seems like all has been well, but PITN I'm sorry to hear about your accident; at least you seem to have gotten through it rather unscathed. One of the reasons that I had to dry out involved an accident, mine however was luckily just a minor bump compared to what you experienced. Hopefully you were a good lil' junky and at least managed to scare up some painkillers j/k :). No offense meant there with the 'J' word lol, and if you truly were hurt then I of course wish you a speedy and full recovery. I too had just come back from scoring, and admittedly that may have played a part in things. It's all said and done now anyway.

So for the past week I've been getting this lighter colored stuff that mixes a nice golden tan and fully draws without any heat needed at all. Normally I find it necessary to at least warm the solution to dissolve everything; just a little help from the lighter, not a bubbling or any sort of full-on boil. My tolerance is down a tad but this stuff would be strong on a bad day too. It's like what I'd imagine East Coast dope to be like but I have absolutely no basis for comparison. Certainly helped make a full day with the step-family almost bearable lol. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving here in Detroit and everywhere else as well :)!

Finally, I've found all my fellow Detroit'ers, as for Detroit boi not being that good I once saw something on NatGeo that said we are a major port for many drugs that come through us and actually make there way else where in the country, so we are actually one of the first states the good shit hits! And all I gotta say is find a good dope man and stick with him, I've been with my guy for 4 years and he really looks out for me, drops it off to me at work and everything.
