If you feel like you need to detoxify your body and mind and fill yourself with nutritional power (something we should all do at least once or twice a year), I highly recommend that you take the time to do the <snip> (just do the book version -- no need to buy the kit, which is really expensive!)

I did it in January and felt better than ever. It seems a bit rough during the first week (no sugar, no wheat, no starch, no fats, etc.), but if you stick with it for three weeks, you'll feel better than ever - I promise!

This is a great program to do a couple of times a year to detoxify your body (especially for those of us who like to roll!)

This program rocks! Your body can heal itself if you give it the chance to detoxify and rebuild itself. I still feel amazing after doing this in January!

Let me know what you think after doing it.

Good luck!

P.S. I have no personal stake in this so no disclaimer is needed.

Are you sure you did not write this and are just trying to promote it? I have seen you reply to like 25 different threads about your detox program XD

I am not doubting the legitimacy of it though :b

If I recall, I only referenced it a few times (along with my recommendation for people to drink green smoothies!). In fact, I created this separate post for it so I wouldn't have to repeat myself anymore in comments related to "how can I feel better..."

I can assure you I have no stake in the program. Bought the book myself in December and just finished the program in January. I just think it is something that a lot of "users" could benefit from every now and then to keep their bodies and minds in shape.

I'm starting another round (21 days) next week!

It would be an interesting case study. Perhaps someone having brain zaps or anxiety or depression or other possible consequences from MDMA use could do it and record their progress. Fortunately or unfortunately, I haven't used MDMA (or anything else for that matter) in far too long. So my detox this time around (next week) is purely to rid my system from the non-drug toxins (sugars, pesticides, processed food chemicals, etc.)

Next time, I'll go on a nice MDMA binge before I do the program!

These kind of detox programmes have been thoroughly debunked by Dr. Ben Goldacre. I think much of what you have experienced is psychosomatic, although I'm glad your feeling better :)

That's just ridiculous. To say that the nutritional value of a detox program like this (dark green leafy vegetables, etc.) along with a reduction in refined sugars, fats, etc. is something that won't improve your health and sense of well being is actually quite ignorant. Believe it or not, many doctors are quite ignorant.

Our modern medical system is structured to give pills and do surgery. Doctors are not trained to increase well being through nutrition. Many doctors actually know very little about nutrition. Heck, just look at the food that they serve to people in hospitals!

I would urge you to try it and see how you feel (it's only 21 days) rather than dismiss it because of an article that a different doctor (different form the one who created the program) wrote. Don't take my or anyone else's word for it. Just do it and see what you think. See how you feel.

No, Detox/cleansing whatever you wanna call it. It helps people clean out their system. This kind of discussion is not allowed on BL.
