I will be getting some 2c-e soon and I am without a scale. I know most people say to get a scale but I was wondering if anyone can give me some other methods. I've done hard drugs before so I'm not new when it comes to small amounts but can someone give me the size of what 5 or 10mg would look like?

Don't even attempt to eyeball a 2c dose. I ignorantly eyeballed a dose of 2c-P and overdosed. Had a terrible experience. Just don't do it.

Yeah, poor idea.

Actually, the first time I did 2c-e, which really ended up being my first full-blown trip, I eyeballed it. It was strong, I'd say a +++. However, it could've been much worse-- I got off lucky and without a bad trip.
Moral of the story: Don't eyeball piles. You'll think you're sure how of much it is, but you can't be sure. And 2c-e has a steep dose-response curve. Get a scale.

Don't do it until you can invest in a $17 mg scale on amazon. Come on, if you don't have that much money, you don't have any business buying research chemicals online.

I am going to take everyone's advice and invest in a scale.. What size scale do I need? up to .01 or up to .001(bad with numbers sorry)

.001. There is a big and dandy scale thread somewhere on bluelight, do a google search and you should be good. Personally as far as cheap MG scales go I like the DIA-20 :)

Definitely, look for a proper 0.001g scale in that Scale Thread

You don't even have spend that much. You could buy a .01 scale, and use it in conjunction with volumetric liquid dosing to accurately determine doses. When I first used 2C-I, I only had a .1 scale, a bottle of vodka and a syringe. There's no excuse for eyeballing.

Just to chime in, liquid measurement certainly works in a pinch, but don't rely on it if you can get an appropriate scale. It's possible to run into issues with evaporation or to make mathematical errors. There's an active thread on here right now where the OP landed in the hospital with serious health concerns because of a calculation mistake related to liquid dosing.
