Desoxyn; d-methamphetamine (130mg) - First Time - Intense and Long Lived

Overall, this experience was rather enjoyable, and I would not hesitate to repeat it, but I found pure, pharmaceutical Desoxyn (d-methamphetamine hcl) to be slightly less euphoric and more hypertensive inducing than regular, street, racemic
d,l-methamphetamine. The best combination, I think, and which is what Adderall does with amphetamine (along with a bewildering array of various salts of amphetamine) would be to mix the isomers in a 75 percent d, 25 percent l combination. However, 50/50 is plenty good enough.

By eating the Desoxyn in its entirety, I experienced the peak effects almost 24 hours after ingestion. Whenever I would imbibe some liquid, I would feel an unmistakable methamphetamine rush and even smoking a cigarette at that point got me jacked even more every time I did it.

My Merck Manual says this phenomenon following oral ingestion of methamphetamine may have something to do with "gastric recycling." Whatever the underlying cause, 130 mg by mouth of pharmaceutical grade
d-methamphetamine is not quite as euphoric as 260 mg Adderall by mouth (which I have also done), is more jittery, and lasts almost twice as long.

Overall, I would repeat the experience, but I think I would prefer some high quality street shards next time (if only I could easily locate some anymore). Also, I wouldn't recommend this dosing regime to anyone but experienced tweakers. As you can tell, I have a fair tolerance.

FYI, street meth in the US, synthesized from ephedrine or pseudoephedrine, is the pure d-isomer. In the 70s and 80s, racemic meth was more common on the streets, being synthesized from P2P.

This seems like a massive dose to me. Is that why you took 24 hr. to peak?

How does Desoxyn compare to Ritalin? even in similar doses?

^^ Desoxyn's dose is much lower than Ritalin's. Desoxyn is methamphetamine, and Ritalin is methylphenidate. I have never tried methamphetamine, but I would assume the high is much better and definitely more powerful.

But if you took the same dose of Desoxyn as you do of Ritalin, you would probably be in trouble because meth is much more powerful.

I have not tried desoxyn but its essentially meth. And meth blows ritalin away. Ritalin is a weak stim that had a very strong/bad comedown for the weak high that you get. Unless your new to stims, then one can have lots of fun with ritalin, but you should still expect one hell of a comedown.
