Personally, I dislike codeine, and was never interested in it, but having 5 grams of chloroform-extracted codeine lying around (and some dihydrocodeine, of which I will make use later), it was pretty tempting to do something with it. So I decided to synth Desomorphine (good ol' Krokodil), but I changed my mind and decided to just synth Desocodeine since this was much easier. I think synth discussion is not allowed here, but I will post details in another forum later.
As you might have guessed, Desocodeine is metabolised by your liver into Desomorphine. So much excitement over this one. The high is very short lived compared to codeine, but it is far better in every way, so here's my experience:
This happened 4 hours ago, and it already entirely worn off
00:00 - Took 250mg on an empty stomach, with no opioid tolerance
00:20 - I can feel warmth in my chest, and a warm tingly feeling coming down my feet.
00:30 - Suddenly I feel like I was hit by a big, soft pillow. I just lay back and close my eyes.
00:45 - As I'm lying down, great memories are flowing through my mind.
01:00 - I suddenly think I reached peak, the effects got rapidly stronger. I feel great.
01:20 - Still peaking, I would say this is far better than Hydrocodone which I tried a few days ago.
01:40 - I'm starting to feel it wear off.
02:00 - Wearing off rapidly, effects are only mild now.
02:30 - Effects have suddenly vanished. I can't feel it at all.
Was it worth it? Yes. Is it a decent drug? No, like with most "codeines and codones" they are nowhere near as good as the "morphines and morphones".
Desomorohine IV would be far more interesting, but as I have mentioned in previous posts, I prefer barbiturates over opioids.
I don't like to do "drug dicksizing", but my opioid history is: Hydrocodone, Heroin, Nicomorphine and Morphine. Very little compared to other people.
EDIT: Desocodeine is actually an active mu-opioid agonist by itself, although I'm not sure about it's potency, but it think it's pretty minor since I consumed 250mg of it. Have no clue about it's bioavail too,
