Desmethyl fentanyl

i think that steering clear is the best possible advice one can give when it comes to such potent narcotics

i think the consensus is that it's not an actual drug. No RC vendors i know of offer it, never heard of anyone ever trying it, never seen any reports on it. That article made a mistake, it was just fentanyl. Either way, you don't want to be playing around with opioids more potent than fentanyl. And no RC vendor is going to risk selling any of those fancy super potent opioids to the public.

Haha that would be pretty logic i guess, thats ywh i cant fin infor on des fentanyl. But im not sure about the rc scene, there is that bromadol shit which is super potent which is avaible if im not mistaking

^yeah it is but good luck getting a hold of it if you are just a normal person and don't have connections in the RC scene; there are others out there as well.

Some days I wonder if the release of these chemicals would have an actual good side effect, like people see that no matter how far you try to go you can't beat chemistry, that we should just give up on outlawing the studied drugs that have safe side effect profiles so they could trade places with hyper potent ana's. When will people learn? You can't have it every way? You either annihilate all chemical usage valid or not or adapt, easy to see which is the smarter approach yet humans still scrawl around the floor trying to figure this shit out.....?

Either way no one is winning, people are dying, getting pushed to the side, and treated like shit or segregated(again).....seems like an appropriate system that will work for all time!

^i totally disagree. Chemicals like this would be far from good for society. These things got their bad rep from a few peoples shitty decisions a long long time ago. alot of people just dont realize that they could be doing serious damage to themselves or others. Look at alcohol for example. people drink too much and die or end up in the hospital, while others choose to drink before driving or operating machinery. people are shitty man. Just because you like getting high doesnt mean that the whole world should be.

not trying to be a dick just doesnt seem like it would be a good approach. until people can respect mind altering substances, bad things will happen when those same substances are consumed.

i think he means that the government should realize there's no way they can outlaw drug use and the more they do, the more people will seek out alternative means of getting high, like through insanely potent RC opioids. If these opioids hit the mass market, tons of people would die and governments should get the idea that they should legalize heroin to prevent so many deaths.

you totally took that the wrong way lol. I've thought the same, this cat and mouse game will never end, people will never stop getting high, so instead of possibly killing ourselves/others with unresearched and insanely potent opioids, let's just re-legalize all the other opiates out there and be done with it. That's the only reasonable approach to drug use at this point.

same goes for cannabis, amphetamines, MDMA, whatever else. Just legalize all drugs to reduce harm and stop this unregulated chemical market from exploding into a giant like big pharma.

Damn thats a very good point, i think the same thing the more they outlaw ¨normal drugs¨ the more people will come up with super potent analogue shit which will cause alot more deaths. Im sure if H would have the popularity of alcohol, and alcohol the popularity of H, roles would be switched. ITs dumb but thats the way it is, unfortunately.

RC vendors aren't going to offer it because it's a fentanyl analogue (ever wonder why you rarely see opioid RC's?). As a fentanyl analogue it would be controlled by the Federal Analogue Act which covers direct analogues of C-I and C-II substances (this is why we can have ketamine analogues, it's a C-III substance). Most fentanyl analogues are C-I as it is. And with no information, there's no way to say how potent this substance is. Changing/Adding one functional group to a compound can make it go either way or even make it inactive (this chemical could be more potent or less potent than fentanyl). Drugs fit like keys into receptors, and one little change can make it not fit or make it only partially fit. You would be more likely to find information on this substance if you knew the IUPAC name for it (i.e. find out which carbon the change has been made to and name it by looking at the IUPAC name of fentanyl itself and making the proper modifications).

edit: and desmethyl is indicative of a removed methyl group from a compound.

edit: just did a google search and according to the montreal report it's 40 times the potency, so it's stronger than fentanyl but weaker than sufentanil.

In another thread a powered from for fentanyl was mentioned and the mod on that thread and I discussed it as neither of us had heard of it in powdered from. since then, I have heard of it being sold as "pure heroin" and as an RC. I wonder if this is what the articles I read were talking about. I am pretty sure the article I linked to is the "RC form", even though it is NOT an RC.

The seized desmethyl fentanyl was toxic enough to affect four police officers who were handling the drugs for analysis.

"Even though they were wearing masks and gloves, still by being in contact with the product, they suffered from mild injuries. One of them had to hospitalized because of a heart condition," said police Insp. Marc Riopel.
^^^ This part sounds like police propaganda to me... Why do they take credibility away from good info with probable bullshit.

Having said that. I have chronic inoperable pain. I can snort 80mg's of dilaudid in a 24 hour period and not be nodding out.

I was recently switch to 50mcg fentanyl. That is 50 MICROgrams an hour released rate. The patch contains 5 milligrams to cover a over a 72 hour period.
I was fine during the first 2 patches (six days). The 3rd patch made me high as fuck. I was nodding hard and fighting to keep my eyes open and focus. That night, my breathing was shallow with LONG pauses between breaths. I finally ripped that patch off. The next day I put another on and I was fine. Buzzing a little, but not like I was on patch number 3.

Told my doc about it and I actually asked for the 25mcg patches and some breakthrough meds instead. I know, I couldn't believe what I was saying, either.
But..
a) I need to be able to work and drive.
b) I don't want to die.

My point is, that Fentanyl is nothing to fuck around with; even if you are opiate tolerant. I talked with the doc, 2 pharmacists, and they all say the Mylan patches are uniform and getting more that I was supposed to is impossible. Well if the drug is in the adhesive, why do some stick on great and others do not out of the same box??? My theory is that one of my patches was releasing and/or contained more of the drug/adhesion. I did nothing different than I have when I was on them before and now. If a controlled delivery method of this drug can put the fear of overdose in me, a very experience opiate user... an uncontrolled underground lab is not a place I want to even hear that they are screwing around with it.

pure fentanyl(analogues) should always be handled with gloves/face mask , don't forget that a milligram is an overdose and it's absorbed pretty well through the skin.

changing the structure of fentanyl got the state and feds real annoyed, cause technically, once fentantyl is altered into another form of fentanyl, its technically not fentanyl, thus not illegal, but they passed a law banning all look alikes/structrually similiar to fentanyl so that loop hole went fast

i think dilaudid is a horibble RX for pain, u gotta take it 8 times a day!!!!!!! it shouldnt even be a schedule II, ban that crap//

I believe that you may be referring to 3-MetheylFentanyl, and that the article that you had read was written by someone without the ability to write a factual article.
3-MethylFentanyl is a synthetic opioid narcotic analgesic analogue of Fentanyl. Fentanyl itself is incredibly potent (around 100 times the potency of morphine) but has a very short half life, and i would advise you to steer clear of Fentanyl itself as i recently went on an extremely bad downward spiral of addiction linked to the use of Fentanyl. Your tolerance builds fast and you fiend for it worse than anything i know, even heroin. The rush is amazing but then its over and 2 hours later you're nearly at baseline, a hell of a monkey to have on your back.

As for 3-MethylFentanyl ((RS)-N-(3-methyl-1-phenethyl-4-piperidyl)-N-phenyl-propanamide), look it up in wikipedia its an extremely interesting compound. It's potency is somewhere between 400-6000 times the potency of morphine depending on which isomer was used and is mainly a black market drug made by clandestine labs. Some of the stronger versions made from the strongest of the cis isomers freebase was dissolved into Halothane (a general anesthetic, another interesting chemical as it is the only inhaled anesthetic with a bromine atom) and released it in the Moscow theater hostage crisis in 2002, where everyone OD'd on the stuff despite naloxone being administered to everyone and if the right concentration is achieved it could be used as a human chemical weapon.

There's other analogues of fentanyl with interesting structures aswell such as a-methylfentanyl, and even more potent still carfentanil and ohmefentanyl.

These compounds are only really interesting from a scientific side of view, if you have any plans of attempting to procure and take these compounds just go to Estonia, you'll be able to score it easily there but then you'll also see the terrible epidemic of addicts and massive overdose rate.

Peace,
Astrona

i read in the encyclopedia, that the USA put a Federal ban on producing similiar analogue forms of a controlled substance, due to fentanyl issue, from what i remember it the bill was passed in the 1980s, because after one drug was banned, chemists would alter it to change the molecular structure by a tinsy bit, technically not making it a controlled substance since it was altered into a similiar compound (referring to fentanyl) im no expert guys but there is ban on making similiar analagoues of drugs that are already controlled, because it made a loophole in the legal system, making this new chemical legal, when in reality its like hardly alterered and the same shit...then having to go thru hoops to get that banned, just as another new analogue comes out, they did pass a law on that in the US..

Just procured a 1/4 gram of acetyl-fent today, I can't wait to give it a shot.
It's supposedly 17x less potent than fent-proper, so I'm guessing a good starting (feeler) dose will be around 1.5-2 mg considering my opioid tolerance. Can someone help me with the math to find a safe dose? I refuse to experiment with it until I have a good idea of what dose I should take.

And of course I'll be using my hyper-sensitive analytical balance to weigh the dose and wear a mask and eye covering while opening the parcel. Any advice(not fear mongering) will be much appreciated!

Honestly from reading about the various Opioid RC's out there, I wouldn't even start with 1.5mg. Do an "allergy test" of .25-.5mg at the maximum for your first test.
