I did a search and didn't find much so I was wondering if anyone knew of rc benzos besides phenazepam and the thieno etizolam

Adanced Drug Discussion would be the place to ask about designer benzos, assuming they've the patience to deal with it.

Do you have any specific requests that you'd like information on, or are you strictly going by those two (who've garnered a decent amount of publicity recently). Just an FYI.

I was just wondering what other ones exist cuz there has to be more but those are the only two I've been able to find, and I guess what I mean by this is what benzos are in the research chemical community not pharmaceutical

Well if you look at the basic structure of the Benzo class:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Benzodiazepine_a.svg

You can imagine up just about any number of substitutions to put in those functional postions; for example its not listed but you can see where R3 would be in that picture. A common subsitution there is an OH group - this gives the 3-hydroxy family of benzos, a famous one of which is Temazepam.

So what I'm saying is there's nearly an infinite possible substitutions, but mainly the pharmaceutical companies have narrowed down the important ones.
You can browse through the chemical structure of 10-20 odd different benzos and see some patterns. Maybe from there you could imagine up a substitution that seems unique and then check with research articles to see if anyone has experiments with it...

Personally, I think that becasue the class is so broad and widely used/prescribed that there aren't more on the RC market simply because the demand isn't that high. Its not that hard to get an Rx for benzos in the first place, so unless you have some really specific desire fora new/novel benzo possibly receptor subtype binding specific etc.. then probably what you are looking for already exists in pharm form. I know this doesn't help you as you are wanting and RC benzo but perhaps this may explain why there aren't more on the RC market

That defiantly makes more sense to me now, I thought there woulda been a bunch
