So i would hope that you are all familiar with the format of the Radio 4 show.

Well for those that aren't

You are stuck on a desert island and are allowed to take with you 8 records a book and a luxury .

Well for this version you will be allowed

Three Records/ Recordings

One Book

One Substance / Drug

Oh yeah n you get the complete works of William Shakespeare and The BiBle

I think i would take

The Smiths - John Peel sessions

Kool G Rap - 4,5,6

& Universe In 2 Orbit, Grooverider & The Producer 1992

My book , i think this is the most difficult choice , i 'll go for Dostoyevskys Crime and Punishment as i keep meaning to read it and being on a desert Island would give me the perfect opportunity.

Plenty of Heroin would do me fine as my substance.

It's going to be difficult to get the selection down. Only one drug? Tight bastard!

I'll work on it. Heroin would be a good choice drug-wise but then again I'd miss my weed, speed, psyches and the rest.

Does the desert island have teenage girls? If not then it sounds a bit like prison.
 
its really challenging is n't it ,if it weren't for my addiction i'd maybe have taken Cannabis .

Also for any fans of Desert Island Discs i would also like to know what your favorite episodes are .

Henry Blofeld springs to mind for me .

The show is one of the best BBC concepts ever imho .

I'm assuming I would have my AD meds as a given, so the teenage girl issue would be an advantage ...for once

wow!!! i would def bring the Sgt Pepper album AND the Orb album and also Phuture 303 Alpha and Omega.

Book, Larousse gastronomique, just to tease meself, and dream away.

Drugs, lol, only one.....given the choice of taking 3, or even 2 this drug wouldn't make my list, but only allowed ONE DRUG??? Would have to be smack. Not even a drug I particularly use, i like opiates, have tried smack, but it be perfect for whiling away the days, and could always just bring things to an end easily if you got tooo fed up....

For the one substance is this an unlimited supply? I'm tempted to say ketamine but my tollerance would probably spoil it after the first week lol. Still I'll go along with it, might hide some DMT and a wee crack pipe up my ass and not tell you though.

I assume ganja grows on this island so that won't be a problem ;)

The one drug that I would have to take with me would have to be heroin. That way I can gouch out in the sun all day without worrying if I was gonna be rescued or not.

My change for today, after great consideration is just the drug to Opium, I've never done it but I think it would be more sustainable than MDA and I could lay sit on the beach smoking my pipe ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....zzzzzzzzzzz
