So apparently ive choked the chicken a little too hard over the years and cant seem to have an orgasm during sex, but i can when masterbating.Is laying off the way to fix this? how long can it take before im normal again? I've never had a girl make me orgasm and whats the sense of sex if we don both enjoy it? plus most people like seeing their partner get off.

Forgot to mention im on 150mg effexor/day but this has been the way it is since forever, so i doubt its the meds.

I don't know. I had a (male) friend that was close to 40 and he said that in his whole life only like 4 times had he reached orgasm while actually having sex with another person (females).

Maybe check with your doctor for sure if it doesn't improve after laying off the masturbation for a couple of weeks.

You're right, you don't want to keep having that problem, especially that long.

I chucked my meds haven't taken none for I think near on a week and guess what I've now been fucking and coming in vagina every single day.

I haven't told my doc yet but perhaps you should before stopping yours unless you know what it could do.

exactly- ssri's/snri's fuck up your sex drive/orgasms

I would guess that the meds are playing a strong role.

Guys go through "down" periods from time to time, but they usually bounce back. The meds are going to make that harder to do(if not impossible).
Abstaining from masturbation, abstaining from coffee/amphetamines/speed/etc... , exercising!, sleeping should all help somewhat.

consider reducing the effexor and taking a med like cialis
 
Antidepressants make it hard for you to come.

Stop jacking off, taking opiates if you take those, and maybe your girl is a little too loose for you?

Do you use lube? I don't use lotion when jacking off and that hurts my sensitivity, plus I need to use lotion for my dry hands. I hear if you're circumcised it also does but I never had problems lasting too long.

Yeah its a blessing and a curse really.Ive never used lube but a handful of times (no pun intended).Im uncircumcised
 
If you're sure the problem started even before you began any drugs or medications even alcohol then it must be something else. Perhaps you're right and have simply masturbated so much that your brain has rewired to desire your hand over vagina? See a doctor. Perhaps smoke some weed. When I used to smoke weed I could come just by sitting in the dark and imagining having sex. Other drugs may also help here.
 
Stop masturbating--for now. This will give your brain time to basically rewire itself to new stimuli. I say this as someone who suffers from a similar problem, and who has also stopped because I realized that every time I did I was only calling up remembered porn images rather than anything involving me, disconnecting me from the act in a way that's impossible with a partner.

Anyways, YMMV.
