Description of different opiate rushes

I did try searching but I could only find bits and pieces of information, and even some conflicting! Anyway, I've used some opiates but never IV'ed, and never felt any type of opiate rush. I was wondering if anyone can give a description of what a rush from each commonly IV'ed opiate feels like - morphine, heroin, oxycodone, hydromorphone - with particularly emphasis on the differences amongst them.

Also, does the feeling vary much between different people? (Assuming equal tolerances and equal doses)
 
Morphine - really tingly/pins and needles/possibly uncomfortable and most would not recommend as far as i know. May depend on dose however.
Heroin - warm and godlike, slight tingles sometimes, very euphoric.
Oxycodone - Non-existent. There is no rush whatsoever.
Oxymorphone - Feels like the heroin rush combined with being really fucked up on oxy/other opioids at the same time. Way more euphoric/warm/godlike than heroin. Best one to shoot IMO.


No other experience with others. Either way, just try them for yourself. It is way to difficult to actually accurately describe how something will feel to someone. I guarantee if you try IVing opiates it wont be what you were expecting it to feel like, and either way i IMPLORE you to not try IVing since you haven't already. I stopped sniffing every drug once i tried IVing 1 thing 1 time. I haven't sniffed in SO long. Any drug i do now, if im not smoking it, im shooting it. Period. Its not cool it sucks. It makes drugs last less long, makes you appreciate the high worth a shit and fiend like a sick fucking zombie for the rush. It WILL make you become a person you never would have imagined yourself becoming. Someone you never would have thought you were capable of becoming.
 
I don't understand why people say Oxycodone doesn't have a rush.. I get a great rush every time I shoot it.

+ Oxycodone: Hard head rush; warmth in chest, arms, feet, face; not much of a histamine release. Lasts longer than HM but still.. only about 15 minutes in all.

+ Hydromorphone: Very heavy; warmth all over and very pronounced in face and feet; histamine release very pronounced.. itchy, itchy, itchy. Extremely short-lasting. Maybe 5mins in all.

+ Oxymorphone: My favorite. Heaviest of the three; Warmth everywhere.. makes you breathe quite heavy; Insta-nod; Good histamine release.. not super itchy; Lasts the longest; I've shot 20mgs of Oxymorphone and nodded for a good 2-3 hours after the initial shot.
 
Morphine - Basically like heroin, but much weaker and takes way longer to come on, although I have only ingested nasally and orally, the rush I am sure is different when IV'd. You do get that warm euphoria, but I wouldn't say the rush is anything amazing, but definitely works when you can't find anything else the get high with.

Heroin - WOW! THE ULTIMATE RUSH! I also recently IV'd for the first time and I can't believe I waited so long to do so. You feel that warmness throughout your entire body, your head spins but in a good way, vision goes blurry, instant desire to nod. I would rather have and IV dope rush than an orgasm... nothing in the world compares.

Oxycodone - A lot of people compare this to dope, but I find severaly distinct differences. While you do get that blurry vision and warm euphoria, the rush is far more speedy. You almost get this overwhelming God like feeling... kinda like you can do anything you ever dreamed of. The rush of Oxy is more of a speediness than noddiness.

Hydromorphone - I would say this comes on rather slow like Morphine. Also produces that warm euphoria, but no blurry vision or dizziness, although it should be noted that I have only plugged and sniffed, never IV'd. The high is also much shorter lived than all of the above. I would put the rush one step ahead of Morphine, but the high is definitely at the bottom of the list.
 
All of these are IV:

Morphine: Nice quick warm rush, has a nice itch to it.

Hydromorphone: Very intense but short rush, extreme warmth and euphoria for the initial 30 seconds, after that the drop-off is pretty quick.

Oxycodone: Subtle yet warm rush, does not compare to morphine or hydromorphone IV; but it wasn't designed for IV use anyways.

Fentanyl: Very heavy and sedating rush, very different from morphine and hydromorphone.....it creeps up on you.

Uhh.. none of these were designed for IV use if you got em in pill/patch form.

No shit. When you go to the hospital, do you ever get a shot of IV oxycodone? NO, it is one of the other 3 I mentioned. Of course no pill was ever meant to be shot up.

Yes.. I know this. Hence why I posted up above about the different types of pills I've injected.

You can absolutely get IV Oxycodone at the hospital. It comes in injectable vials just like the rest of the previously mentioned opiates. It is just used less than other types of opiates such as Morphine or Fentanyl.

No reason to get your panties in a bunch, sir.
 
Well I for one have never received oxycodone IV, and have never heard of it (at least here in the states). The point I was trying to make is that it is not used in a hospital setting for IV pain control. I have been in the hospital over 20 times, and have never received it once IV for pain. I honestly don't see why they would use it IV anyways, the oral BA is so high that you really have nothing to gain by giving it IV........It really doesnt have a rush either. More like a subtle warmness, but in no fashion or form does it compare to morphine, hydromorphone, or fentanyl IV IMHO.

i think this is true according to my experience.....no idea why so many people are so heavily hooked on this.

agree tha whatever it is one feels on oxycodone, its more speedy than H....and weaker.

You just changed my itinerary for today! *find oxymorphone!* Can you normally find liquid kind for shooting or is it just pills normally?
