Yeah ,bought a home 18 yrs ago,they made a wall( before i bought it)with a window that the garage door use to be.No biggy,again 18 yrs later I get a violation tag on my door with a 400 fine ,no letter no warnings.Well scored a used garage door for 300 in LA hours away but now to have it installed,so screwed.Its so hot,trying to clear the garage to we can have work done,tearing out all this drywall etc for inspection, they are waiving the fine because of how they proceeded to bust me for something I didn't know was illegal,so yeah that's good,but what an ongoing fiasco

That's a lot of crap. 18 years to bust you?! I'd love to wall off my garage but it's forbidden. Like many ( most?) people, I never park in my garage, it's too full of my crap to ever fit a car in it ( plus it's a tiny garage)

Same! I should of never got a loan,but home was forclosed and realtor didn't give a fuck,but enough Ty for listening
