Describe a Bluelighter you have met recently.

I met Magpi at Earthdance a couple weeks ago. Awesome guy, i was very pleased when he just walked up and said hello to me :)

He was very cool and down to earth. I look forward to seeing you at future doofs dude. :)

down from brizzy. what can i say about these two?
mr samadhi - what a great guy, funny, always had something interesting and cool to talk about...and with no offence to the missus.. hes a hottie!
samadhi - what a down to earth, open awesome chick. such a gorgeous personality and someone i would really like to see more of...hopefully in future trips down to melb!

Well okay, there were no cocks out, I lied, but we still had an awesome time. Samadhi is even more beautiful in real life than in her photos... just the most gorgeous, ethereal, gentle creature with flowing dark hair and a stunningly pretty smile. oh - and a wicked sense of humour and no 'standing on ceremony' attitude, which I *immediately* clicked with ;)

Her hubby Scott (Mr Samadhi) is equally awesome. Not just a hunk, but a top guy as well. I've never met anyone so generous! I am really starting to feel terrible now about all the things he paid for... wine at the pub, um, party substances, not to mention loaning me his t-shirt so I could take a dip in the spa back at their hotel room.

Was there EVER a greater hotel party than the Samadhi's? I think not. I wonder if the (insert swanky city hotel here) intended their bathroom to be used as a bong smoking palace ;) I will be interested to know how long popavitch and the others stayed for after Fatz & I left at 4am.

Really look forward to going up to QLD to see these guys again, and this time it will be *my* shout :)
 
well i to met the samandhi's at my shin dig but i have to dash of to work now so will write some more later tonight or tmw...depends if BLs going to work from my puter at honme or not :\
 
well met mooshie and which doctor last night (for the second time but said more than hello this time) have to say they are both beautiful people and make a great couple, really interesting and meeting then was def. the highlight of my night. i would say more but im too scattered =D
 
I met che_melbourne on the weekend! What a champ! We were busy chatting our asses off for ages and it was really interesting I must say! Your thoughts and experiences are way beyond your actual years! It was great to meet someone who was level headed but also knew how to run a muck ;)

I also met lsd303, he's a really nice guy to chat with! You do focus on negative issues a little much!! You need to lighten up, your great to talk to and people will like you for you, theres nothing to be stressed about :)

i met Josh Nexus again, and he tripped out my girlfriend because yeah... he did... and it was funny
and he is cool...
 
well.. we're back in brisbane now (28 degrees and i'm sure 100% humidity :\) and i've got a cold...

What an absolutely rockstar weekend! :D

Thanks to everyone who made the weekend what it was.. a bloody corker!

It will literally take me days to type everything i want to say about everyone, but i MUST say an extra special thankyou to Pop Popavich, Muzby and 420star for the fun you helped us have friday night, saturday morning and saturday afternoon. Thanks for showing us Brunswick Street and Bimbo Deluxe, thanks for sharing many laughs, thanks for being all-round awesome guys. Can't wait to hang out again soon. :):)

We had a ball on the Yarra Valley Vineyard Tour, unfortunately we didn't get to go to Fergussons or Domaine Chandon - the suggestions of Pop Popavich and SLM (we were outvoted by the other people :|)

Everyone we met made us feel so welcome, thankyou so much for that. It was a trip to remember.

mr & mrs samadhi - very nice genuine people... would definately rate in the top 10 interstate bluelighters i have ever met.. (and don't ask me to put people in order from 10-1... ;) )

was great to meet a couple of people who are very comfortable with who they are (and so they should be..) and don't feel the need to put up any kind of front...

three thumbs up for those people... :D
 
As may be apparent from the above posts, I met the Samadhi's over the weekend and I have to echo the sentiments put forward by Muzby, SLM and KryalkastlE.

I had an instant connection with both of them from pretty much as soon as I saw them, which was only reinforced over the course of the night/morning/following day. Two very genuine people that I look forward to having a lot more to do with in the future. :)

Another couple of stand-outs from the people that I have met recently are Mean Girl and Nickthecheese. Spending time with and getting to know these two very intelligent, fun individuals was a real privilege. My only regret is that I didn't get to spend as much time with them as I would have liked.
 
Hmmm... What to say?

Well it's taken me 4 days to make this post, mainly cause I wasn't too sure how to put it into words :P...

As previously stated on friday night which started off with an absolute bang... The night kicked butt starting at my place, a little out of it when the gorgeous SLM and the Ex-B/L'er KRC Turned upto my place.

Off to the Shindig we went...

Out of the corner of my eye when we got there I saw this girl with longgggggggg hair walking around, walked upto her and realised from a pic it was the one and only Samadhi...

Then met the Now Infamous Mr Samadhi...

These two people absolutly ROCKED... Sence of humour, Personalities... As everyone else has said these are DEFFINATLY two of the BEST Non-Melbourne Bl'ers... No offence to the others, but these two are really really kind hearted.

The Mrs' Not a bad bone in her body... Someone asked me to explain her, I said if someone was to hurt someone in her family, or a close friend that I honestly believe she'd be the very first person to turn around and try to forgive the person. Friendly, open minded and hot to trot too ;) hehe..

The Mr This man ROCKS my SOCKS. I'm deffinatly looking at partying with this man very very shortly again. Taste in music, Kind hearted, having great chats' with him back at the hotel room.

Awesome couple, and hopefully lots' more partying shall occur...

well i kinda fixed my net access...

i had to honour of meeting mr and mrs samandhi. and let me just say there is not a bad bone in their body. they are both such beautiful people and i can see why they are together. i instantly felt comfy with mrs and i felt a quick friendship form, even though brief form with her. and mr.s is just a character and a half. he made me laugh. i didnt talk to him to much but these two are probably on par to the most honest, open and genuine bler's ive met in a while.

it was a pleasure meeting you both and i will post my bday photos when i scan em ;)

Thanks :) .. ok, yeah, I was a tad (!) on the negative side while I was talking with you, 'cos I'm a bit of a fruitcake and wasn't feeling the best at the time.. you missed me after I'd had the pill of a lifetime and was talking to _everyone_, loved up to the max, etc... :) .. all in all it was a fuckin' awesome night, just had a bit of a sketchy start from my point of view.. but anyhoo, the real "me" is very social, very chatty and loves anyone who isn't an out-and-out prick, so just wait till your "farewell party" :) .. (bwahahhahha)

This isn't related to anything, but I swear I thought that said baby photos the first time I read it...I was all WTF??

Oh, and I am very jealous of everyone who got to meet the Samadhis while I was in Sydney.

I know! We were both really looking foward to meeting you as well Raz! Not to worry, we've decided that we're coming back around the same time next year, we'll probably stay for a week or so next time... :) To the snow for a couple of nights, then in Melbourne for the rest of the time.
 
ozbreaker/faker/makeya mumma cry: He's as cool in real life as he is on BL. Awesome sense of humour and fucking cute. I wish I could say more but words fail me. Hopefully see him again soon.

RavPup: First time I met this guy he was off his head and his conversation consisted of, 'Sam, Sam I am.' and 'you're up all night' and 'god i'm fucked. i'm really really fucked.' repeat.
Second time I met him my boyfriend was being a dickhead saying that he had Hepatitis C and describing to Ravpup how that affected his life and I knew then that Sam was cool because he just went with it and they both spouted shit for ages. Definitely a fun guy to have around!
