Describe a Bluelighter you have met recently.

I think while some people there were being pretty stand offish the vast majority of people weren't. In fact for a lot of the BL'ers there this was only their second big meetup.

Going back to my first meetups I remember hardly anyone knew who I was, but you stick around and chat to pple and then they get to know you.

I dunno. You probably get about as much out of one of these as you're willing to put in.
 
by the time i finally got my ass there most people were leaving. twas good to see those i've met before again.
i won't name all your names again but you know who you are, you all rock..and give fabulous hugs! yay for hugs!

UnSquare: doubt you'll remember me, you were pretty much in your own little world. but you kept me hugely entertained with your hand movements!

texas: unsquared's girfriend (i think) she wasn't really a blue lighter, well, i think she signed up that day :P i had an awesome time chattin to you! and your boots were absolutely divine! hope you walked home ok them!

riot grrrl - only met you briefly but you are such a god damn cutie!

there were various other people sitting on the couch that i met.. but i can't remember your names i'm sorry!
i found everyone really friendly.. i got so many cute cuddles that night, i thought you were all very plurry!

Because I believe some people weren't there to meet people from the internet but to catch up with someone who had come in from melbourne.

A few mentions though:

magpi: Friendliest guy in the world. Rate him very highly.

Unsquare: Loved the jacket - if only I could understand what you were saying. ;) Someone I would like to meet again.

Astrosmurf: Wish I'd spoken to you more. All smiles.

Riot Grrrl: I've started calling my bf Jersey. It's awesome - he hates it. =D

And shout outs to all the local yokels who I see all the time and those who I didn't really get to speak to.

lol, nah she wasn't a bluelighter and she hasn't signed up. I gave her that name cos she looked kinda left out of the bl crowd, and she had cowboy boots on, fucking sassy chick!

We need another syd bl meetup. With more couches, pool tables and where they don't kick u out for peeing in the laneway ;)
 
Firstly, can I say Pop Popavich is the all-time bluelight best Host of the year. Always fun!

Here's some people I met:

chik: looks better in photos, proof that good lighting is everything. good for a haircut (or so i'm told) but not much else..

starfalls69: has weird orgasms in front of everyone on the floor on E. sounded like a cow being milked. Nice enough though.

Duckboy: tall, doesn't look much like a duck. Actually didn't really talk to you at all. Maybe next time?

muzby: met him first at Utopia in May 2001 I think. Awesome dude, you rock! Let's rail mdma again soon.

Wow, what a decent person you must be. Maybe thats why i dont even remember you. But thanks for noticing me anyways. lol

And i dont use lighting crap in my photo's by the way. Go have another look and see for yourself.

For some reason I had it in the back of my mind that you were going to be an absolute freak and therefore was willing to hide all night rather than meeting you. But you were definitely the person who I am glad I met the most all night, that is of whom I didnt already know.

its also mad that you are a local guy from the north, if you get over liking the Roosters and start following the Eagles I may even consider having a beer with you.

Chik, the thread isn't called "Say nice things about a bluelighter you have met recently". I for one appreciate the breath of fresh air that comes with someone posting an honest, different opinion, even if it's an unpopular one.
