awesome, had the pleasure to meet a few new people this weekend just gone
flyafterme: wow, what a fantastic guy. absolutely switched on and extremely intelligent, thoughtful and articulate. spent a long time chatting to him all night long on a range of different subjects (some of which i remember...some of which...not so much
), and came to the conclusion that he should be a lot older than he is (and should be at a different uni!).
chik.: was very glad to finally meet her, and despite the fact that she's evil and kept trying to feed me drugs (!
), i will forgive her and admit that she's quite wonderful. seriously, very very friendly, totally unassuming and also quite intriguing. wish i'd had the chance to have a longer talk to her, but i will be holding her to the promise of a proper chat at a later date
munchee: i'm a retard, apparently. okay, that was obvious i guess. anyhoo, i'd already met him before, but had no recollection for some reason. and you'd really think i would remember, because i had a great time talking random shit to him this time (and being thoroughly intimidated by the fact that he's studying something that actually requires real brain power, as opposed to my arts degree
).
gen.: had met him briefly before, but never really chatted. had mucho fun discussing films and music with him, which was a ton of fun (and he didn't seem to get *too* upset as i went off on random tangents about crazy french film directors from the '60s and so on
).
but I actually got to chat to you last week and it was groovy. K is fun. :D
