Depression Class Associated with Benzo's (Uh Oh!)

Alright maybe this should be classified somewhere in the 'Focus Forums'
But it's got some content that i need y'all to resolve.
Im taking,

.5mg Klonopin (twice a day)
and
10mg Ambien (once a night, duhh)

These prescriptions are for legitimate reasons, soc. anx. and sleep disorders
and they help. But i like to have fun, too.

Stay with me -

My dad found out he has cancer and my depression has come hard.
I hate feeling like this and when my psych. appt. is due this month
im going to tell her to keep me on the Ambien and Klonopin (bc it really does wonders when used correctly, or even when not )

Ive been on SSRI'S and SNRI'S before and the only thing that even helped a bit was Pristiq. THEY BLEW.

I was interested in a new approach, maybe a MAOI or some of the other classes that are strong and will help the depression. Maybe a combination of pills that can synergize with klonopin to destroy the anxiety and depression??

On top of that i want a script that will get me high every so often, kind of like kicking back and popping a few


SUMMARY:

I need a good anti-depressant from any class (maoi's, snri's, nri's, tca's, or even something different that has worked for you. Im just so sick of going to the psych. getting a useless pill and repeating a month later. Just give me the straight doc!

I want this drug to have recreational effects also. Im responsible but just like yall sometimes we like to kick back and splurge for reward

Will its effects of this drug potentiate kpin or be harmful?

If you answer these three i will thank you forever, man life gets hard sometimes. please keep my father in your minds, hearts, or prayers. thank you so much

I've two suggestions:
1. Try out some Tricyclic Antidepressants - They're good for sleep also and have been one of the best groups I've found. Much better than the newer SSRI's like Citalopram etc.

But - No recreational value at all unless you consider sedation and blurry vision recreational.

2. Buproprion (aka. Zyban / Wellbutrin) - It's a DNRI so should provide a mood boost in a shorter time than other Antideps, but it can cause a bit of restlessness, but yer Benzos should help massively with that (they do with me).

But, again - No recreational value.
Antidepressants don't have any recreational value at all unless you were still able to get aMT or aET prescribed, which you can't. And even then, they're not particularly nice.
