Depressed, anxious, self-medicating newbie. Hello!!!!

Been reading the volumes of info here for a little while. Might as well jump in with both feet. I look forward to any and all interaction.
Don't know if background is appropriate, so here's a little. Been diagnosed clinical dep. since 91. Suffering from random anxiety attacks,
social anxiety, and general feelings of extreme shitty-ness. I have always tried to use natural means to treat myself. Had some time w/ the ssri deal and also benzo's. Currently not taking any pharms, maybe I should......

Welcome, largecranium! You should definitely go and take a look at The Dark Side if you haven't already. I think you could not only find a lot of support for yourself there, but also help some other people that might be in similar situations. I know for me trying to help others is extremely therapeutic.
