Depressed after taking MDMA

So Last Friday I was partying with a bunch of friends and took some MDMA (a couple dabs). I had about 3 beers and 3 shots of Jagermeister(can't remember when but i think i had a beer and two shots after taking mdma). This was my second time taking it and I felt good for the night but at one point i remember kind of panicking and having bad thoughts so i left the room and took a breather and I was fine for the rest of the night.

The next day (Saturday) I was fine until I got to work and I started to get anxiety/depression and a bit of de-realisation. It continued for the rest of the night and as I was laying in bed the same night I just started to panic, get negative thoughts and got hot and sweaty to the point where I left my bed got a drink and came back and went to bed. Ever since then I've been getting anxiety/depression and moody/emotional. I also just stopped smoking weed/cigarettes a couple days ago too which may or may not affect what i'm feeling. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated to help me get back on track. Thanks.

I don't think its anything more than a simple case of suicide Tuesday. In Ur case suicide Saturday but depression after taking mdma is common cause Ur brain is depleted of all the seratonin the happy chemical. Give it a few days you'll b back to Ur old self again

Maybe you have a guilty conscience because you are doing harder drugs which is causing anxiety and panic. The effects of THC stay in your system for 28 days after quitting so perhaps this is contributing to the anxiety, negative thoughts and panic (all of which sound like downsides of weed to me). I doubt it was the dabs of mdma or the giving up weed thing, in my experience giving up smoking just makes you more short tempered and impatient. Also this is your second time on MD and it was a very small dose so it's probably not a comedown thing.

I don't see what's so odd about this. It's pretty common to feel down and/or out of it for a bit after MDMA.

Couple years back that was me for 2 weeks str8 after round 400 mg. Big depression and it was not fun. I suggest low doses and stuff and hopefully it wont happen to you. I will never do that again as it was not my idea or deal. I was just there with some friends and said ok to the doses. I knew better really. All is well now, but that was a weeks long deal. Over two weeks. Try fresh foods, some 5htp, some vita c, and try to sleep I couldnt really in my state after that 400.

I could deffinatly see giving up the nicotine being a huge factor in you anxiety, even depression since smoking releases dopamine. A couple finger dips usually doesnt even equal .1, and even in your second time I would be shocked to hear it would someone unless they have had a history of depression.

I would pick up some 5-htp, step up your eating habits if you frequently eat junk food, and just stay positive. All of this is easier said than done, such is usually the case but it sounds like a solid week of following advice and abstaining from substances and youll be fixed right up.

This only happens to me if i take too much and/or re-dose throughout the night.

THC isn't in your system in any significant amount 24 hours after smoking a sane amount of weed.THC's half-life is about 3-4 hours. It's the inactive metabolites that show up that long.

It's probably stress from quitting weed and cigs, coupled with after effects of the X.

I think you should smoke some weed, it helps me with the suicide tuesdays from X.

I've definitely been in your boat, and it is extremely crappy :/ But don't worry, I'm 80% sure it will pass. When it happened to me, it took a week for me to fully recover. I've heard taking 5-HTP vitamins are very beneficial for after rolling, I believe it helps boost the serotonin in your brain. I recommend running to your nearest drug store and start taking one daily (or whatever the directions tell you).

As for smoking weed, I don't know if you can get negative side effects like depression/anxiety after quitting (not completely positive though). From my personal experience, it has helped me relax when I get depressed or anxious after taking MDMA. And I am definitely not a fan of smoking cigs but ESPECIALLY when I get anxiety, it calms me down a ton.
