Depressants, Opiates, etc that don't damage Kidneys

Hi, first time poster casual browser.
I've been diagnosed with auto domal dominant medullary cystic kidney disease (My kidneys ain't workin' great) and I've had to go sober among other things. It's been a few months now and needless to say it kind of sucks, so I'm wondering if you guys are aware of any relaxant type drugs that don't damage the kidneys at all? If it didn't damage the liver either that would be a bonus.
I've considered pot, but truth be told I just don't enjoy it much.

I apologize if this is in a sticky somewhere already and I missed it, or just not the right board.
