Anyone goin?

I wouldnt miss it for anything! lol/ Would be cool to meet up w some fellow BL'ers in such an enviroment. Deffinitely my favorite event in MI... well Rothbury is pretty sweet too though.
 
The expected lineup this year is dogshit. Sven Vath and maybe Mim0sa and Green Velvet are the only acts worth seeing.
 
wolfgang gartner!? And there are top tier acts that havent been announced yet. Dead Mau5 is gonna be there. Benny Benassi rarely every misses DEMF. And im sure CVS will show up again ythis year.
 
I was really unimpressed by this year's wish list. If those are the top tier acts they're referring to I'd be really disappointed with the lineup. Neither Deadmau5 nor Bennassi excite me one bit. Between this year's lineup and last year's highlight being Ghostland Observatory (as many have said) DEMF seems a little lackluster. It's certainly been superceded by Ultra.
 
I don't like the fact that they are going more mainstream.

Yes perhaps ultra has superceeded movent over the last four or five years. But my happy ass aint travelin to miami and spendin a buttload when I canmelt my face off right at home lol.

And if your not into the line up at the fest theres a ton of after parties every single night that kick ass, considering they close down hart plaza at midnight.

Anyways Ima be there. Hope some other BLer's rep too. =D
 
before a full lineup was announced, paxahau was taking a poll re: possible headliners in which Deadmau5 and Gartner were both choices.
 
I think the lineup is sweet. I am not going though, unfortunately - maybe next year. IF I want though, I wouldn't miss these:

Mimosa
Paul Kalkbrenner
Skrillex

i'll be there saturday melting my face off to some venetian snares. also looking forward to seeing skrillex, haters gonna hate.

I'm fortunately in a position financially where I can go for the sake of going, for that communal spirit and the festival vibe, even when the line-up is unimpressive. I don't party as much as I used to, with clubs and what-not, so I get my party on at Fests.

hell, I'm going to go to the House festival in Atlanta this year and, hopefully, the BPM Fest in Playa del Carmen, Mexico next January!

It's all about the fests.
