Demerols did nothing for me?!?

Well...
Two days ago I ate two percoset's.... it was GREAT! I loved the real mellow/euphoric high......
Yesterday, I got a hold of two demerol....
now, I *thought* both demerol and percoset are just different brands of oxycodone......(i may be very wrong)
Well, i ate the two demerol and didnt even feel the slightest buzz......
Does demerol give the same buzz that the percosets do? Any ideas why i didnt feel jack shit?
Im confused...

Demerol is the brand name for the drug meperidine, Percocet is the bran for the (narcotic) oxycodone - two differn't drugs... both are opioids, and both have the potential for euphoria when (ab)used, but they are NOT THE SAME!

2 of the 50mg Demerol caps wouldn't produce much of a high - it can be a LOT of fun, but it is not the greatest drug, certinly not the most potent...

That's weird.. I've never taken demerol pills, but IV demerol administered at a hospital is QUITE intense. Strange there's such a difference. And no, I have no idea how much I got injected with.

This is one of the reasons why I always scream hatred for Demerol PILLS. 50-100mg of IV Demerol has me wonderfully blissed for a few hours.
I've taken as much as 250mg Demerol, in pill form, Orally. Though I *did* experience a definite 'buzz', it's not the typical opiate buzz. The pills DO have recreational potential, but most people don't like the buzz they give...it's often described as 'dirty' and is not nearly as euphoric as Oxycodone and the other more commonly abused narcotics.
