Demerol (meperidine) and Xanax .

I just snorted 250 mg of demerol (5 pills) it actually didnt burn too bad . Im wondering if it would be better with about 1mg ofxanax or more? Or if it will jsut ruin it. I tried looking it up couldnt find anything. Also whast theh best combitnation with demerol besides Promethazine? Maybe some xanax, hydrmorphin contin or weed? Quick answer would be nice thanks

Only you can decide for yourself if this is a wise idea. No one can know if this is safe for you through an internet message board, tolerance and indevidual response can vary quite a bit.

Personally, I think it would be best to stick with the weed. I find it combines nicely with opioids, and the effects are immediate and easy to titrate.

Benzodiazepines+opioids is potentially dangerous, there is a synergistic increase in CNS depression (greatly increasing chance on OD). IIRC, most fatal opioid overdoses occur with benzos or other CNS depressantsin the system as well. Be vary careful, and start real small if you decide you want to try this combination. Use lower than usual amounts of both drugs.

I wouldn't take more opiates unless you have a respectable tolerance, and I don't what your tolerance is. 1mg xanax would probably be fine, but again, it depends on your benzo tolerance (if you have one at all).

The weed is the safest option if you're set on combining the demerol with something. Personally I would take the promethazine, that's how it's usually done in the ER

Thanks for the replies, all teh xanax did was make me pass out so imo just the demerol is much nicer then benzos with it.
